I have download The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Kai and update but when I shall launch game I get this error
I have download translation patch as well and put it in SD card folder.

sorry to disturb, but got the same issue as in this post, game works absolutely fine without exefc folder (w/o mod basically) but if i put it back there in full accordance with readme file it keeps giving me this message. maybe after years some kind of solution was found?

Had the same issue and haven't found one.

What you can do is play the game without the exefs folder, the game will still be in English, but you must be careful to NEVER try to save with "Inspector Sara" in your team, or your game will freeze.

Is it possible to use a save file from the PC version of the game? If not, does anyone have a save file for the beginning of Chapter 3 (ideally, the start of the field study to Nord Highlands) while using this mod?

is there a recommended overclock that make them run at 60? I'm running at 720p in Handheld mode if that matters.

For handheld mode something around 1785/844/2133 if you want near perfect 60 FPS.

It would be nice if someone can get the Trails of cold steel 1 English mod to work on the latest firmware.
So I don't have to downgrade to firmware 18.0.0 to get the game to work. Since I have download Pokemon Firered and I don't think it will work on firmware 18.0.0

Why are you sharing total bullshit? Everything works fine. Just tested on 21.1.0 with 1.2 mod and plugin fix.

Changed latest release to be more idiot proof. Now you have one main package and one eng dub package.

As a bonus added translated game name and icon with logo from README, compatible with sys-ticon.

I already played it on my switch lite, worked perfectly there, now upgraded to an Ayn Thor with Eden.
The title screen extra menu doesnt seem to work there.
Is there another way to configure the game to run at 1080p/60fps?
If there is a way, can i use that same method for Tocs2 as well? (havent dumped my cart for that, yet, but i assume it probably wouldnt work there either)

EDIT: created sd:/config/ToCS1/subsdk9.save on my switch lite. lets see if this works on emulator too! maybe i can get around using the menu alltogether with this! Wish me luck!

EDIT2: i did copy the folders to "ToCS1" and "ToCS2" with "subsdk9.save" inside to:
"This PC\AYN Thor\Internal shared storage\Android\data\dev.eden.eden_emulator\files\sdmc\config"
and something DEFINITELY happened!
... it didnt start the game anymore, just a black screen. Womp womp... heart broken </3
There go my dreams of upgrading to an Ayn Thor to play the Trails games in higher-res and higher refresh rate.
