If I have an OLED that I was playing online, but now that Switch 2 is coming out I don't care if the consoles itself gets flagged, can I just sign out of my profile, delete my profile from the switch, and then start using the MIG Switch and let the console get flagged without it affecting that account? So I can buy Switch 2 later, sign in with that account, and then continue playing online?

AFAIK Nintendo will never ban the account itself

I’ve had a switch banned and signed into the same account on my new OLED without issue

Huh, that's interesting. So I could leave it signed in just fine? I just wont' be able to update games, play online, update console firmware, or do anything that requires taking the console online after it is flagged?

Once the ban hits you won’t be able to update anything most likely

Idk what kind of ban they are handing out since Im not pirating MiG games, but when my switch was banned I was still able to download updates for a bit

So I guess the question is, is it worth letting a switch get banned just to use Mig Switch. Games not getting patches would be a pain. But using Mig Switch on the OLED would be very cool.

I still have my SX OS modded first gen Switch, I know I could update that, play all the games, and update them. But playing those games on the OLED would be even better.

I have bought myself a Mig Switch and for it in the mail run off sometime next week. There are 3 games in total on the Mig Switch since it comes with an SD card, there are Super Mario games on it, will be downloading more games on it. if I were to buy a Nintendo switch, how do I play games that are on Mig switch, on TV?

I haven't tested it myself but there's a game card switcher add-on with the remote for the Switch. At the very least, you'll need the MIG Switch in one and a random game in another. Some people reported that it doesn't really work so further investigation will probably be necessary. Other than that, you'll need to get up and press the button on the cartridge if you have MIG Switch v2.

I have a Nintendo switch lite but I can't play games on TV with it.

You could connect your Lite to the TV if you purchase and install the SUPER5 OLED Standard Upgrade of Mega Kit (currently sold out).

I'd say it's not if you can find someone that can properly install a modchip into your Switch. Otherwise, I'd be on a lookout for a banned Switch OLED unit and use it there. It'll probably be cheaper and, sadly, in a not-so-good condition as well.

You don't need to format your Switch to use the MIG Switch. All you need is a formatted microSD card and legit game backups.

No. The MIG Switch needs to have legit ROM dumps, games that are unsigned do not work.

ROM hacks will only work if your Switch is already jailbroken, they must be installed to the console's SD card.

This is pretty cool, the guide they linked to made use of the schematics I made so I'm happy to see that the documentation is leading to a better time understanding the product.

I can type the bbcode manually I just don’t know what it would be
