i get something similar when i quack up on one point form nx tutorial, are you sure you migrate/backup your emu not sysnand and not skipp fix raw point? :P

Just asking because i have done Hekate way few times now and never get this.

PS. now i just discovered that i can copy the whole partition in partition wizzard from old sd to new sd :O this, this is an easy way! Need to test it but it seems to be working fine.

Where are installed NSI files located on the memory card? Answer my question instead of linking the guide. If you don't understand what I am asking, don't even worry about it. How much storage do I need on the SD card I want to back up in order to hold the backup files created by Hekate?

Well the guide work fine, you be able to move the emunand off the old card onto new card if you use the emutool tool

My sysnand is on 4.x and emunand is on latest so yes I am sure. I don't quack up. Could be that I was using a Mac, but the post I linked solved my issue....

Yeah, always you use Mac for the SD card manipulation you need to fix the Archive Bit, is something what most of us oversight because normally is not a issue for us. sorry.

I got it working perfect. Just had to do the following: "Tools ➜ Arch bit • RCM Touch • Pkg1/2 ➜ Fix Archive Bit". Any idea what this does? For some reason it fixed my issue. Only thing that is weird is that my my 256gb SD card is using 2GB more than the new 1tb card even though I copied all the files. RAW folders are identical so I assume there are some hidden files left by a dirty installation a while back on the 2gb that don't show up on Mac. Everything seems to be working great though...

Hi All,

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread.

I just got a 1TB card and want to upgrade from my old card.

I will use https://rentry.org/EmuNANDNewSDcard (unless someone has a better recommendation of course), and I am thinking of using the Hekate method.

Before I do this, I want to check, will this mess with my sysNand / saves on official firmware in anyway or will it only transfer my emuNanand and emuNand saves?

Thank you to any kind soul who can guide me on this!

If you tranfer all your files and *NANDs you will have a exactly same config on the new card.

give a try to the post:

Thank you!

I am not sure if I was unclear before, my apologies. I am wondering about "stock - sysMMC." Do I need to do anything with that? Or will that (and the saves on it) remain as is when I upgrade cards?

In step 2 on the guide you linked I only see eMMC / emuMMC referenced.

  • In the main menu, tap on Tools, then Backup eMMC and set SD emuMMC Raw Partition at the bottom of your screen to ON.
  • Backup both SD emuMMC BOOT0 & BOOT1 and SD emuMMC RAW GPP (Note: SD emuMMC RAW GPP may take a while).
Thank you again!
