I recently got:
The PS4 version of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the first Sin.
I bought new themes for my PS Vita as well as PSP digital release of Armored Core: Last Raven, and Helldivers 1, also for PS Vita.
In addition to those, I also got the original Gran Turismo for PS1, the PS2 exclusive 24: the Game (based on the 2000s Live-Action TV show of the Same Name) and the PS2 version of GTA Vice City. Lastly, I got 6 months of Xbox Live Core, and bought on the Xbox One marketplace Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's creed IV: Black Flag, its DLC Freedom Cry, the Ultimate edition to Star Wars Battlefront 2015, and also the Xbox One Version of PUBG.

Recently bought an Xbox 360 S (Trinity) with 320GB hard drive and an extra 32GB flash drive from Cashies. Going to be RGH modding this one to backup my physical games. Bought all of the parts like the JR Programmer, Matrix Glitcher, clamp tool, etc.

A really old GBA flashcard that I also picked up. It came with a USB writer that plugs into your computer to write games onto the cartridge. Took about 4 minutes to write multiple ROMs that max out at 128 MB, and selecting them from the menu, it loads up pretty fast. You'd need to use a virtual machine with Windows XP as the drivers do not work under Win 10.

Just do a RGH3 on it. Those Trinity are my fav. You'd only need that JR programmer, wire and a 1k resistor. Have fun!

I'd love to do RGH1.2 as it's a lot more reliable as many have said. Like with some phat models, tend to be iffy when booting with RGH3.
That's only with phats. I've done 50+ RGH3 with slims and they are very reliable. Either way you choose should be fine tho, RGH 1/2 just may take longer to boot, RGH3 is instant boot.

I wonder if that ds homebrew (not gbaloader) that reflashes those chinese repro carts could work. The dev has a thread on here somewhere.
Or maybe you can use something like the joeyjoe bags to flash it / request for it to be supported.
A few years ago I bought an old 32Mb flash cart for game boy, it needed an ancient external flasher which I didn't have, but my joeyjoe bags saved the day.

The DS homebrew to reflash repro carts was 'Burn2Slot'. Tried to flash a game onto this Ultra Flash using the GbxCart and it couldn't find a matching flashcart configuration, and opted to use the 'Generic' defaults.

I might give Burn2Slot a go later at some point. :P

I'm still deciding on whether I'll keep it, but I got a base Mac Mini M4 (16GB/256GB) for about £500.

Don't absolutely need it but I want a low power yet reasonably powerful system that I can keep on all the time and do various things on whilst having access to Mac OS for the odd time I need it.
I did nearly the same thing, at a much higher cost. I got a MBP M4 Pro with 48GB Ram, for the same reason. #1 is to use XCODE to use Provenance-emu on my iphone/ipad without the need for jailbreaking. A MacOS VM on either intel or AMD is just too annoying to keep both working and updated.

Have you seen/tried Disaronno Velvet? That stuff is so damn tasty and smooth, you can just drink it straight. It's in a white bottle.

990 pro 2tb.

Was thinking of getting a another drive for more storage and Samsung UK had a cashback promotion, £50 cashback making the drive only £80, can't really say no at that price.

Will check firmware when I get around to installing it, should be on the latest as the production date (I think it's the production date) is november this year, but I'll still make sure.
Nice. I just ordered a 4TB along with a Trebleet TB5 enclosure. Saw a test/review of the enclosure on Youtube, and the darn thing can nudge past the internal storage speed of the MBP with the M4 Pro chip. The extra port is for more power stability when 8TB drives come around...

I spend a considerable part of my life listening to podcasts/audiobooks.
I spend a considerable part of my life cycling or on trains where I need to hear what the next stop is.
Solution: bone-conduction earphones (Haylou PurFree BC01). When I switch them off, they cheerfully announce "Pupper off!" I imagine the pupper in question is quite tired (and maybe disappointed there weren't actually bones inside…) after working the earphones for me:

Yeah, Hackintoshes can be a pain if you don't have just the right hardware and in a few years may not even be possible.

I ended up keeping the Mini, so far it seems fine for what I intend it for although RAM hasn't become a concern until I start going outside of this e.g. compiling provenance (just for a laugh/test) is so far eating 13.5/16GB (idle 6-7GB). Certainly if this was my main machine I would need the 24GB+ RAM model.

Just purchased the PS4 version of the System Shock 1 Remake via digital download.
I'd probably be buying this at some point - still a bit afraid how the remake is as I spend quite a bit of time in the original back then. 451! Original was far better than Wolfensteins, Dooms or Quakes back at it's day, instead of braindead shooter a full blown RPG. Origin/Looking Glass were the true trailblazers and pioneers of true 3D as it's known today. Of course we had had Elite, Virus... even before.

Maybe. I still ride a skateboard from time to time so they're use to the abuse..
Lucky you, I just need to hit a mogul at low speed and that's me done in for a few days. Plus it kills my back as well. I'll stick to swimming from now on as that seems like the only fun I can have nowadays without ending up crippled for the day.

Nice board though.
