This is a port of Ship of Harkinian to the Wii U. Ship of Harkinian is a PC port of Ocarina of Time allowing you to enjoy the game with modern controls, widescreen, high-resolution, and other great features!
Check out the awesome project here!

Quick Start

  • Requires a supported copy of the game (See supported games below).
The instructions below haven't been updated in a while. Join the official Discord for updated builds and support.

Releases:

  1. Download the Khan Charlie 6.1.2 .zip from here or the #downloads channel on the official Discord.
  2. Download the PC OTRGui version from here.
  3. Use OTRGui to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC version, you can use that as well.
  4. Copy the oot.otr file to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Nightly Builds:
:!:
The nightly builds come with up-to-date features, but are experimental. Use at your own risk.
  1. Download the latest soh-wiiu and soh-windows artifact.
  2. Use OTRGui from the soh-windows.zip to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC nightly version, you can use that as well.
  3. Copy the oot.otr file and the contents of the soh-wiiu.zip to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Well that's weird considering is a native port, there are more complex games running at 1080p60 but oh well. Guess it's the fact that is doesn't use official nintendo libreries or whatever

Does anyone know if this Wii U version works with mods made for this decompilation or is it trial and error?

Mods work with the lastest builds, in the same ways as mods are used in the PC version (mods folder and otr files), though only lightweight ones, simple model and texture swaps shouldn't be too much of a problem, I got the 3DS model to work for example, but the bigger ones like the HD texture packs might cause slowdown and crashes.

I'll do the tests here on the Wii U. I did it on the PC and it works well, I want to see which mods work well on the Wii U version. It would be interesting to see a Redux version of Ship of Harkinian, maybe create my own version using the mods to make it look similar.
Thanks for answering

Anyone know how far along the Wii U build of 2Ship2Harkinian (Majora's Mask decomp) is for the Wii U? Dying to get that as a companion install with my Wii U copy of Ship of Harkinian.

The current version is Rika Alfa 1.0.0:

It runs great at 30 fps, the only issue I noticed so far is a minor visual glitch that affects fairies the first time you boot the game, but it disappears after you close and reopen the game.

Ohhh yeah i played that version a while back, if i remember correctly it wasn't really v1.0.0 version but a sliglty earlier unpolished version. did almost a 100% run of it so i do know alot of the bugs this version has
* Some slowdowns in some overly populated areas like East Clock Town or some Dungeon rooms
* Clock graphic is missing the little sun that indicates the hour of the day
* The fairy issue you just mentioned
* If you press the Home button when a minigame timer is running the game would pause as normal exept the timer would still be counting down in the background
* This version still has the hyper spin clock glitch
* And at the end of the game during the Oath of Order cutscene i randomly got transported to the version of termina field with the giants holding the moon frozen in place and the game crashed when i tried to go back into clock town

Amoung other more insignifican bugs, it has mod support but you have to toggle it manually from the config file and anything past 1.0.0 won't work.

Then make one my dude, while we're at it. Why won't you be a good boy and also tackle Perfect Dark while you're at it?
People like you suck. Clearly the guy doesn't know how to port decomps and is just excited to see someone in the know make it happen and to show that there is interest from fellow hacked Wii U owners. No need to be a dick to those that love the homebrew scene even if they themselves don't know much about programming.

Updated to latest Aroma since prompted, now my Ship of Harkinian doesnt start.
Edit: Probably not related now to new Aroma

Edit: Nevermind, it just fixed itself. I dont know how, but now it starts, maybe because I had the controller I used the last time powered on before starting this time?

It's like this. If I had either the know-how or the time to learn, I would fully port the multiplayer mods to Wii U with dual and triple-screen support. The Wii U got screwed on a lot of potential in regards to dual-screen games (although the downclocking of the CPU for heat reasons may have been a factor) with games that had split-screen on weaker platforms not having any local multiplayer at all on Wii U sometimes *coughblacklistcough*

Hi all, having downloaded the latest build from github that says Wii U (which i think was from last August) is there a forwarder that works with this, I've tried 2 earlier ones from this thread and one just went back to the Home menu and the other gave me a black screen that said not to mix a pc otr file with the Wii U port - the game is running fine from the homebrew launcher menu though.

Also quick question with the internal resolution set to 100% is that 1920x1080 so 1080p? Thats what my Wii U is outputting.

Thanks all.

No, im still using haxchi, I'm not up for the stress of trying to update to tiramisu or aroma right now as I'm perfectly happy with my Wii U just wondering about a working forawarder, what the 100% internal resolution is annd if you can play using a Brawler64 NSO controller via Bloopair?
