Hey everyone!

I’m trying to modify a cover image of an NSP, but most of the guides I’ve found are from 2020. I was wondering if there’s a simpler or more up-to-date method available now. Honestly, the process of extracting and recompiling feels pretty overwhelming, and I'm not quite sure where to even begin.

If anyone has any tips or a clearer explanation, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a v2 switch bought a few months ago , Is It normal that i lose 5%of battery after one day of being properly turned off(not sleep) ?
Should i being worried?

Currently have a softbricked witch which wont load payloads to screen.

Downgraded to 18.1.0 (no reboot release) everything stopped working, and I'm stuck in AutoRCM with no payloads working or doing anything after injection, I've tried formatting my sd card, unformatting it with backups, redownloading Hekate (which doesn't even display), I have backups of my sysnand and keys locally, I just need to know how to get NXNandManager 18.1.0 to recognize my wiped SD as a switch card or if I need some sort of donor modded sd card.

Fixed by downgrading Hekate to 6.2.1 and starting SD card from scratch, in hindsight wiping the sd card was not smart as I lost my games and saves. There is likely a fix by deleting atmosphere and resinstalling latest version as well as any themes on console.

Hey all,
Haven't used my Switch in 8 years.

It's on firmware 7.0.0.
(Specifically it says 7.0.0|AMS 0.9.4|S)
It can boot into ReiNX through RCM.
It's a HAC-001.

I'd like to get it updated with the latest CFW and able to boot without having to enter RCM.

I'm pretty unfamiliar with everything, but I have a jig.
What do I do to get it optimised.
I'm guessing something needs to be "injected" with Tegra?
Or do I need to do something with the MicroSD card?
I'm pretty oblivious to all of this but I'm relatively tech savvy.

The only way to boot CFW without entering RCM is to install a modchip and that requires soldering.

Hello.
I've had a first-generation Switch for a few years now and until today there were no problems with games or Atmosphere. Today I got a message "checking whether this software can be played" when I wanted to start Mortal Kombat 1 or Voidwrought.
What's the problem? What's the solution? Everything is up to date, primary DNS is set to 207.246.121.77, and secondary to 163.172.141.219

Hello again, sorry for another noob question. I'm only using EmuMMC and cannot start games. I didn't login to Nintendo account so "Primary device" shouldn't be the issue I guess? Should I update sigpatches? Or do you have any other advice please?

As you can see above I have the same problem, udpate of sig patches did nothing

Did you delete the tickets in Tinfoil like I did? I wonder if that was the rot cause.

Found a couple of advices;

First one "Replace hekate_ipl.ini, download fusee.bin and put it in /payloads, and download sigpatches."

Second one "go into maintenance mode (hold the Volume + button while booting into Atmosphere). Once in maintence mode, there is no need to press any buttons / chose any option. Just restart the console."

Will try second one first.

I personally use the latest sys-patch 1.5.4 instead of sigpatches since I'm on the latest firmware and CFW setup. No issues while loading game backups whatsoever.

Is there a guide somewhere I can follow that explains step by step how to set up retroarch to play 4 player N64 games?

Did you use Tinfoil to install games and then deleted tickets?

Edit: That was my mistake and the root cause. Re-installing the game and NOT deleting the ticket resolved the issue. Somehow "only download ticket" didn't work.

No, I used Awoo Installer. I transferred all games from my computer's hard drive to my Switch's memory card and than installed via "Install from SD card" in Awoo Installer. You can share Tinfoil files if you want to

EDIT: Soooo... in turned out that somehow only the game update was installed without the game itself. Weird, I thought I did installed base game and than the udpate.
Anyway, now everything works

Hi, this its my first question, if my nand got damaged before install picofly and get a nand backup, its there a way to recover the console changing the nand?

So, kind of a weird question, but where's the best place to share a Switch game mod? The game's kinda obscure and the fanbase in general is pretty hostile to stuff like this, so game-specific places are out of the running.

I would like to start a fresh cfw setup on my sw. I have had the current one for years and things are outdated. Do I just format the sd card and go as if new setup? Thanks!

If you've blanked your prodinfo in the past by using Incognito_RCM or similar, make sure not to delete your backup files before you back them up from your SD card. You should have prodinof_sysnand.bin file somewhere on your SD card.
If you need to backup your old saves, you can use JKSV for that.
Also, if you've made any screenshot or video that you might want to keep, make sure to back that up as well.

After that, remove the SD card from the Switch and format it to FAT32 using a tool like guiformat. If you were using a hidden partition emuNAND, make sure to merge all of the partitions into one big one. Now you'll have a clean SD card. I'd recommend testing whether it's still working properly with the h2testw tool.

After that, check the NH Switch guide.
You don't have to dump your own firmware if you don't want to, it's much easier just to download latest firmware files off the Internet (we aren't allowed to link to those files here, but quick Google search is all it takes to find it).
For game backups to work, you'll need latest sys-patch (for firmware 19.0.0 or newer and Atmosphere 1.8.0 or newer only).
If you plan on connecting your emuNAND to the Internet, make sure to setup 90DNS or DNS MITM in order to block Nintendo servers.
For keeping your CFW up-to-date in future, check this guide afterwards.

Where can I find nsp file to install DBI forwarder please? I'm using HATS, which only has the applett one and it doesn't work, probably because of lack of RAM.
