Please don't choose your vote based on internet message boards.
its actually how i made my choice this year. not only this site but a couple others ive been on for 10+ years. maybe not the wisest decision but the vitrol and division in this country where people are so polarized that they cant except differences of opinion is what drove me to use that as the guide for the vote. which side is doing less name calling was my formula this time.

i dont always vote this way but i felt that this time it should be the guide.

and i live in a state where my vote is inconsequential because the winner is always one sided. im not battleground state

So you went with message boards but not with actual threats made by politicians?

This makes no fucking sense. You're confusing two entirely different procedures used for entirely different circumstances. No one is mad about the concept of a c-section. You suggesting that people can just have that procedure over an abortion is possibly one of the dumbest things I've heard all year and you've already set that bar pretty high with previous remarks you've made. Like for real you come off as having Kyle Rittenhouse level education (he got kicked out of school in the 9th grade and never continued)

The rest of your nonsense is at best, the rebuttal a 3rd grader would use.
This whole comment makes zero sense, doesn't present an alternative viewpoint and is complete lunacy. I expect nothing less from an intellectual giant such as yourself.

There's legitimately no discussion to be had with someone who thinks an abortion and a c-section are interchangeable procedures.

correct. i didnt really listen to much of what either politician had to say because they both suck to me. neither option is a good option imo. in that way the options are worse vs worser
See, this is why you can't be taken seriously.

What is this stupidity?

i dont really care if people online take me seriously or not. im honest and truthful in my statements and if people dont like them oh well. thats me. im not putting up a facade or being peer pressured to not be who i am. if that means people dont take me seriously so be it.

Clearly. A ban on price gouging versus a 200% price hike on everything (tariffs). It's not a tough decision.
without discussing the merits of either of those 2 policies i do think that price gouging gets caught up in the courts and isnt easy to apply and the tarrifs will cause some products to be price hiked but push towards internalization of production of some products which could be better for the climate. it takes alot of oil and energy to move products internationally.

there are lots of pro's and con's of both policies. will be interesting to see which one gets to take affect. once they take affect then we can blame whoever is in office if it doesnt work. im willing to give either option a try.

"Drink a cup of premium coffee or shoot myself in the dick, hmmm...how to decide."

And FYI we already gave tariffs a try during the Trump administration. Prices went up but people didn't buy fewer imported products, it's simply an extra tax on the working class.

Its a pity that one of them comes with a lot of fascism attached and the other doesn't.
care to clarify which one comes with facism and which one doesnt? they both are forced by dictation.

those tariffs are still in effect too. it wasnt just the trump administration that used tariffs.

Most are not, no, but some companies decided to keep the price hike in place anyway. Nvidia being one example.

it wasnt just the trump administration that used tariffs.
Correct, they were a far more effective tool before we became a globally interconnected economy. Now, however, Wal-Mart isn't going to stop stocking Chinese goods, and its customers aren't going to stop buying them, price hike or no. Tariffs also provide US-based companies with cover to bump their own prices for no good reason.

Guess this will probably all be decided within 24 hours.
It might not. WI, like other states, wanted to start counting early ballots earlier in the day and the GOP legislature blocked this (presumably so they can use the red mirage excuse again). I don't know if other states are going to need more time but counting was intentionally delayed by the MAGAs here

We can hope, but the outcome in 2020 wasn't certain until the following Saturday.
With significantly less people voting by mail this year, I think the results will come significantly faster, though maybe not tonight
