Do you know if checking to update atmosphere, hekate and system firmware is the best approach for my issue as well?

emummc seems to work fine but I'm trying to run Pokemon Scarlet, and Pokemon Shield using save files from the sysnand that I have the cartridge for and get the message.
I'm not too familiar with questions regarding cartridges, as I own none. But if you're on low firmware, sure you can update. 18.1 should run just fine at this point, and probably not many games require 19 yet. I'm on 18.1 here and not having any problems. I never played any Pokémon games, so maybe someone else can chime in. You might be just missing an update for the games.

Any updates and/or DLC that were present on emuMMC but not on sysMMC are missing for your games. Since these are stored either on the console itself or the SD card and not on the cartridge, the console is prompting to redownload them because they aren't being detected on sysMMC.

Hi guys, I am slowly going insane from trying to get CW running on my Switch again.... It's an old model and I've had CW running on it before so I'm certain it works ^^

Problem: I am not able to install NSP's.

Here's what I've done:
  • Followedswitch.hacks.guide/ so I got this on my sdcard: switch.hacks.guide/user_guide/all/sd_preparation/
  • Updated my emuMMC to 18.1.0 (before that I tried 19.0.0 but read that its not 100% ready yet)
  • Downloaded sigpatches, syspatches and changed my hekate_ipl.ini from gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/
  • Got my keys using lockpick RCM payload
  • Tried with both hekate and fusee payload
  • Tried AIO stuff from the website sigma..... (not sure if im allowed to link it)
I get into hblauncher (tried with applet and the other mode) and go into goldleaf and try installing hbl.nsp and it says Error 2356-0002 (0x564) MetaNotFound
If I install tinfoil using their installer it adds it to the homescreen but then it shows the default "Could not start the software" screen.

What am I missing??? Plz halp!! :<

PS: I had to create a new account because I dont have permission to do anything on my real account (Hapse)

To keep it short, the issue is the installer that you are using. I highly recommend switching to TinWoo Installer instead. Its what I personally use and I never have any issues while using it.

You can use what @Draxzelex mentioned or you can give DBI a try as well. Never failed me in the past.
As long as you have the latest Hekate, Atmosphere and sys-patch, games should work after you install them, whether you use TinWoo Installer or DBI. Goldleaf might be a bit outdated nowadays, depending on which game you're trying to install or on the (custom) firmware you're on.

I'll give it a try, thanks guys

Can you get DBI in english? my russian isnt that great :D
DBI is no longer being updated or released in English which is why I recommended TinWoo since the latter has been actively developed so it is more updated in English.

Hello guys
So I just updated my FW from 16.1.0 (I think) to 18.1.0 to be able to run a new game and now, when I try to launch Atmosphere 1,7,1, with logs enabled, I get an error in red, about "failing to apply 'nosigchk'.

I can still boot Atmosphere, but my games will not launch and I imagine it's because of the error. I have NOT updated my sigpatches manually this time, but was hoping to use Sys-patch (https://gbatemp.net/threads/sys-patch-sysmod-that-patches-on-boot.633517/) to automatically make the patches. Tesla is working, I have updated it and confirmed it works. I'm using Sys-patch 1.5.3, but it looks like it isn't working. Could my boot method be the case or is it something else??

I don't use Fusee-bin but instead use "launch" from hekate and choosing CFW Emunand option.

Been a long time since I had to mess with my Switch, so I am just trying to include as much info as possible.

Anyway, help XD.

I updated to FW 18.1.0 and atmosphere 1.7.1 applying the latest sigpatches. I use hekate 6.2.2 (but I also tried with the latest fusee).

Everything is working fine but I can't get tinfoil to run. When I launch it from the hbmenu I get a corrupted data error even though it's the latest version I could find on their websites.

I didn't update sys-patch because I seemed to understand it is redundant, could it be the cause of the problem?

Does the paperclip thing work in non v1 models? Switch modchips don't exist in my country and I don't think its possible to softmod the switch
Short answer: Nope.
Long answer: I think it may allow you to reboot into RCM but you won't be able to push payloads, therefore it's useless on anything other than unpatched Erista models.

Most (if not all) modchips come from China. Do you mean you can't order online from a site like aliexpress? I'm sure some local guys can import those modchips in Venezuela and install them. Probably on the expensive side, but probably still not as expensive as buying games. Of course, I could be wrong on everything.

Try sys-patch 1.5.2, which was designed with Atmosphere 1.7.1 and firmware 18.1.0 in mind. It's working flawlessly for me. I'm using an unmodified fusee.bin to launch Atmosphere.

edit: to be clear, I didn't install any sigpatches, I'm only using sys-patch 1.5.2.

THANKS MAN! That did the trick, I guess, with having to download soo many different things for installing a new FW and everything needing to be compatible with everything else, I missed that Sys-patch 1.5.3 is not compatible with AMS 1.7.1. My games are working again. Only issue is, this only seemed to work when launching through Fusee, which is not my preferred launch method and for some reason, one of my games now shows corrupted data on boot and requires a re-install. But thankfully this isn't really a game I am playing atm and a re-install should be easy anyway.

Cheers!
