It's over kamalacats, time to look into Canadian residency permits
Ugh, it is 2004 presidential election again and it is ridiculous to tell democrats voters to move to Canada if republican won the election.
It is hard to immigrate in Canada and vast majority of democrat voters stay in the US, so they will continue to fight against Trump.
If Trump win the election, so it don't affect me very much because I don't work for government or run the position to handle with election that is at crosshair to Trump, also I'm not protester on street that could face the federal official. Like previous presidents like Bush, Obama and soon to be Biden, Trump has to deal with political constraint that where court block or derail many of his agendas, and if some of his agendas are executed, so he could face the consequence like slow economic, high inflation because of deport too many illegal immigrants or put too much tariff on imported stuffs, so with labor shortage, the US depends on immigrants to run the labor, including illegals.
Wisconsin is actually becoming redder, it only voted Republican three times since 1976
There is one problem - democrats lost many of rural voters and it make Wisconsin slightly more red than last 2-3 decades ago, so today, Wisconsin is just rural vs. city to make a swing, also their election is unpredictable.
Democrats no longer win in North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia (soon), Missouri, Louisiana and possibly Montana because of political realignment.
Ron Johnson is a bit of an anomaly, and we're still a swing state. His opponent also ran a terrible campaign.
Yeah, having a good campaign is crucial in swing states.
Ron Johnson won very closer election.
More and more baby boomers are retire and they move to warmer states, so it help to increase the blue in Wisconsin that help with democrats in closest election.
Our legislature also changed after Roe vs Wade was overturned, and we've had a Democrat governor since 2019. Wisconsin was pretty red for about a decade prior, until after Trump won and the events that followed with his presidency.
I've also only recently been getting a lot of cold calls from unknown numbers and the transcribing reveals they're pollers looking for info on who I'm voting for.
I don't answer unknown numbers unless I'm expecting a call, and cold calling landlines and cellphones are still the primary method of gathering this data.
The method is flawed.
Better to ignore the call. As deaf, I don't rely to call at all.
I don't trust the polls, even aggregate and some of polls are in poor quality or have same responses. There are a lot of silent voters and they can tip in closest election.
Polls in the US sucks, but it is superior in other countries like UK.
