Because traditionally there is more than only 1 debate between the candidates. Trump is just scared, a coward.

He didn't even show up for any of the Republican debates I think. A big reason was probably because he couldn't contend, and the only reason why he went to the one against Biden is because he and his staff actually thought he had a chance. He did better than Biden, so of course they were peeved when Biden stepped down and Harris stepped up. Initially tried to get Harris on a debate against him on Fox News before the official ABC News debate they were set for (which Fox News I believe said nothing about). Trump did horribly against Harris on ABC News, so now he's trying to ditch out of anything else against her because he can't compete on-stage.

This old man is whom many Americans are voting for. A coward, and so are they.
