I have tried the fixes online for black screen issues others have had but nothing helps, I can not get the power options menu to come up anymore in both cfw and stock firmware. Anyone have an idea whats the issue or how to fix would be greatly appreciated. Also yes I have searched for posts and help online for this issue I realize there is black screen issues but have not found any like the one my switch is having.

Does any bootloader messages/logos are shown?

May be your screen or your driver got damaged, if you dock the console, anything is display on the TV?

Ok, I'm just going to format my SD card to FAT32 and jailbreak my Switch all over again. I'll be back if I run into any issues. Thank you for your help. :)

Wait, so does that mean that I cannot format my SD card and hack my Switch again from the beginning? Like I said, it boots into STOCK no problem, and I haven't tested sysNAND because I never used it on this Switch.

Again, the problem is the new card currently does not contain any emuMMC to boot from, and the solution is to use Hekate to format the card and create a new emuMMC in it, to start from scratch. Just do this and go from there.

Its a switch lite so I cant test the docking, Its odd cause the screen works normal just having this issue when I plug the charge in while playing or when I hold the power button to bring up the power options menu

Are there patches to lower the resolution or remove certain effects from Death End Request (or other games that chug)? I am trying to play the game but the lag and chugging makes it borderline unplayable. I would rather it looks worse it at least it runs smoothly. And SYSclk overclock doesn't even seem to help that much.

Oh quick question, the guide says that I need to disable automatic backup of save data, but I keep getting an error message when I click on 'Save Data Cloud'. Probably because my OFW is still on 8.1.0, but if I don't care about my 1st Switch being banned, is this unnecessary?

Super Mario Odysseus is requiring internet connection after being installed in awoo? Any clue on how to fix? Tried updating sigpatchs to no avail.

Ok, I followed the guide completely but now I no longer have the emuNAND or sysNAND boot options. I just have the Atmosphere CFW and Stock options now. What should I do now so that I can boot into emuNAND and reinstall Smash Bros and mods?

Edit: Both boot-ups work though btw

Where did you download the patches from? If you didn't already, I would download the patches from this thread.

Edit: Booth boot-ups work though btw

If you completed the steps on that guide, then the Atmosphere CFW option should boot your new emuNAND. You can confirm by looking at the firmware version on System settings, it should look something like:
18.1.0|AMS 1.7.1|E
The last character will tell you what you're running: E for emuMMC, S for sysMMC.

Other than that, both NANDs will look the same at the moment, because the emuMMC is first created from a copy of the sysMMC. I suggest setting the theme to black on one and white on the other, so you can tell right away which is which.

Ok it currently says 8.1.0|AMS 1.7.1|E

So I know that I'm on emuMMC now, but now my CFW firmware is on the same number as my OFW. Before I made my big mistake of formatting my SD card, deleting my emuNAND, my CFW was on 18.1.0 iirc. Is that going to cause problems now?

Ok, I'll start installing a custom theme and my games on my emuMMC for now, thank you for the help. :)

Edit: Never mind, I was able to update the CFW via a YouTube video.
