Looking into the partitions of your SD Card, you can use MiniTool Partition Wizard or Disk Manager on windows.
Ok, what is the name of the partition I should be looking for?

Only if you turn it on before making the backup then the backup is emummc if not it is sysmmc.
I can't remember if the guide I used 4 years ago told me to turn it on or not though. What can I do with a sysmmc backup? Would it allow me to boot into sysNAND but not emuNAND?

okay now i have another problem, switch is not turning on and it's not entering into rcm mode
press power button 30 seconds without release it.

You can't boot emunand when you don't have the emulated nand stored the raw partition.

@RookieHaxer The most likely problem is that you don't have any emuMMC on the new card (nor the partition to store it - yet).
Also, if you ever did go online with the stock sysMMC at any time after the old 2020 backup, now that you've restored it, sysMMC will very likely get banned the next time it goes online, or shortly after.

Now, If all you want is to use that console, and you don't care about a ban, you can simply follow any of the guides to start from scratch and use Hekate, to format your new card and create a new emuNAND on it. From there, you can do anything you want (except online play, eShop, NSO and all that stuff that depends on official servers).

I just recently bought a 2nd Switch which I have jailbroken to play WiFi-Safe mods online which is using my old SD card which has been formatted (hence why I tried to upgrade to a new 1TB SD card for my 1st Switch to play non-WiFi Safe mods and other 'dirty' modding projects on). I do not care if my 1st Switch gets banned, it was probably banned already anyway, and I have my 2nd Switch for online play.

I plan to use the guide that impeeza linked to try and upgrade my emuNAND to see if that fixes anything. If it doesn't, then I'm just going to erase and format my SD card to FAT32 again and use a guide to jailbreak my Switch from the beginning. Hopefully my issue will be fixed after starting from scratch.

It seems as though your [CFW (emuMMC)] is missing a line. It should look like the following:

[CFW - emuMMC]
fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk
emummcforce=1
atmosphere=1
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp

Add a line that says atmosphere=1 under the [CFW (emuMMC)]
any other ideas? this did not seem to work..

I don't think I have a NAND partition on my SD card, I only see an unallocated space of 64MB according to MiniTool Partition Wizard:

Yep, that card do not have a RAW Partition Based EmuNAND, may be you have a File based one, look for files on SDMC:/emuMMC/XXYY/eMMC Folder, may be you have files like 00 ... 07 files?

I have an emuMMC folder on my SD card, but it doesn't look like I have the material mentioned in your post unfortunately.

Hey I posted this in the main page forum but did not get any help hoping I can I find an answer here if anyone can help.I have a modded switch lite(RP2040) everything has always worked fine until today, I noticed when I was playing that if I plug in the usb charge the screen goes black/blank. The system still has sound and backlight still on and also If I hold the power button to bring up the power options screen to completely shut the system down it does the same thing just goes to black/blank screen. I have tried the fixes online for black screen issues others have had but nothing helps, I can not get the power options menu to come up anymore in both cfw and stock firmware. Anyone have an idea whats the issue or how to fix would be greatly appreciated. Also yes I have searched for posts and help online for this issue I realize there is black screen issues but have not found any like the one my switch is having.
