Help running an old R4 Clone (probably) on a 2DS.

Hi, recently, I figured out my old DS Lite top screen was broken, so I wanted to use the R4 Cartdrige on my 2DS. It is an "R4 Pro" wich is probably a R4 SDHC clone, every firmware for that worked on the flashcart (I think that the strange label of the flashcart was there because in the period i got this [2010/11 ig] R4 flashcarts was banned in my country) . I tried launching the flashcart on the 2ds using NTR Launcher (wich gave CRC Error), Slot 1 Launcher from TwilightMenu++ in direct mode, which gave me a white and a black screen and also the "Reboot" mode from TwilightMenu that gave me a 3DS Error. I also tried using the R4 Revolution Stage2 Launcher, The R4i Gold Stage2 Launcher, the TT Stage2 Launcher but nothing. On the flashcart it is installed TwilightMenu with the R4SDHC Firmware. Could someone help me? Thanks

P.S. I linked the images of the flashcart, and also, the 2DS is modded and it has a CFW (Luma3DS)

Perhaps you have the wrong firmware. https://gbatemp.net/threads/retrogamefan-updates-releases.267243/ suggests that this is just an R4 clone and is not in fact an R4SDHC clone.

Why should the firmware be wrong? It just works, you mean that the firmware could be the reason for the R4 not working with NTR or Twilight? (on 2DS, twilight works on the R4)

Also, it just gives YSmenu

Why should the firmware be right..? There are obviously many different flashcard firmwares (or kernels, rather) available and if you did not download the correct one for your flashcart, then it's not going to work.

No... the flashcart was bought when 2ds and 3ds wasnt event a thing.... the flashcart WORKS PERFECTLY on a DS Lite and DS Phat system, and only with the original R4SDHC Kernel (just tested right now), so it is clearly a R4SDHC Clone or a rebrand to avoid being banned during transport in the UE at the times it was banned. I just wanted to know how to make this work on a 2ds...

How exactly would rebranding an R4SDHC as an R4 Pro somehow circumvent an import ban? But that's not important.

Do you have other DS cartridges? Do they work on your 2DS?

I only have a game cartidges and it does work. I think that someone needs to make a launcher for the R4SDHC like ApacheThunder made one for Original R4. So ye thas the only chance, and this is because this R4 is old and it doesnt show up as a game.

Talking about a R4 Launcher, just saw on ApacheThunder github that to make it run on other flashcart a dldi is needed, i have one and i have a linux machine for compiling... so i could try

That is precisely what NTR Launcher is for. There is no reason that NTR Launcher should work with the original R4 (which also does not show up as a game) but not this one.

At this point I might suspect that your flashcart just isn't fitting into the 2DS cartridge slot properly and making contact where it needs to. I dimly recall reading about some people putting a piece of paper alongside it to squeeze it in properly. I don't think I would want to mess with that, though; there would be a risk of damaging the cartridge slot.

not really caring abt damaging the slot for carts i have my games digitally, how to do the thing with the paper?
