I have the original game dumped from my EUR disc in wud format (a bunch of files: game.key, game.wud.part1 up to part12). How do I patch these?

Tried to convert those using discU and it says I'm missing msvcr120.dll or something
Tried to use wud2app, it has no UI and shame on me I don't quite understand what to do from cmd only

I feel like there has to be an easier way to patch what I have instead of downloading the whole thing already patched from the internet (found one but the download speed is abysmally slow).

Ok, no easy way it seems. I had to download the already patched game (and to the Nintendo ninjas hearing me: I own 2 copies of TMS, 1 euro and 1 japanese so stfu), repacked it with nuspacker iirc and then finally installed as normal.. a couple of failed attempts later I finally got it to work,.

Btw, any way to play the hot springs japanese DLC?? (other than playing it with the full game in japanese)

Okay, what iosu do you use. I pretty much did the same steps. I also have multiple copies of this game (for the NintendoNinjas) but trying to install it on my usb drive is a bit hard. It's met with failure after failure. I realize NUSpacker says it requires iosu, and there are different ones. Which did you use? Or did you find a different way to make it work?

Okay, what I did was dump my copy onto PC, patched it. I checked that the game worked on CEMU, and it worked perfectly, but when I use NUSpacker to turn it into an installable format, it constantly fails. Did you do anything to make it work?

I don't even know what IOSU is tbh. I use an actual Wii U with Tiramisu but I believe it's the same for Aroma.

from a patched TMSFE in a code/content/meta format (as I said I downloaded it, there's one on the web but the download speed is very slow, but it can be faster if you use jdownloader 2) I repacked it with NUSpacker, I followed this tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nuspacker-for-noobs.454684/

I kept doing mistakes on this part:

"java -jar NUSPacker.jar -in "The/Path/to/your/decryptedgame" -out "Where/you/want/the/encryptedfiles" -encryptKeyWith Wii U Common Key"

because I wasn't inputting the wii U common key correctly. You need a space before it and you must not delete "with". So it should look something like this:

"java -jar NUSPacker.jar -in "C:\Users\John\Desktop\tmsfe" -out "C:\Users\John\Desktop\tmsferepacked" -encryptKeyWith 192839302"

of course 192839302 is not the key, the wii U common key is the one you can find on the internet starting with D7 and ending in 56. When everything is entered correctly, clicking on the bat file will start NUSpacker. I tried some alternative NUSpackers with a UI and stuff... don't bother. They either stuck/froze my PC with endless unpacking or outputted uninstallable files.

From there I just put those files in the install folder on my sd card and installed it on my Wii U through WUP installer gx2. Had some problems with the app telling me my sd was corrupted or something. Had to use another one, freshly formatted in fat32.

What kind of error do you have? I can help you if it's one that I encountered myself

This. All of this. Thank you for it. I think I know where I went wrong. The key. I will try the right one now, and let you know if it works. If not, I'll let you know what the error was. Just wanted to make sure I showed some gratitude before I started.

Edit: Yep, that was exactly it. I wasn't using the right key, and at one point I wasn't using a key at all. The moment I found D7.....56, it began installing without issue. Thanks again!

2nd Edit: It gets even better, it seems like the install just overwrote my old install, so I didn't have to restart my game. Just picked up right where I left off. I wonder if this effects my DLC.

Hi, friend. Are you arround here yet? I have some questions about translation projects...

Hello everyone! This is a very old thread, but I hope there's still someone here who can help me.
Im working on a spanish translation project, but I have a problem with certain subtitles... As you know, there are three types of cinematics in the game: cgi animation, traditional anime animation and animations made with the game's own graphics engine. My problem is with the last type. I found the dialogs of that scenes in a msbt file as any other and I can trasnlate it, but when I apply the patch on the game, the subtitles are still in english! How can I edit this subtitles then?
And just for curiosity, wich cpk file contains the game's "pictures"? I mean, things like the "FIRST STRIKE!" message that appears when you get off guard an enemy. I would like to translate that kind of massege too, but I said "just for curiosity" because doing that implicates a lot of pictures edition, and for now I have enough work with translating the text. Maybe later... :D

False positives. The only PC code in this download is xdelta and the patch manager.

Also, the patch manager supports just dumping/downloading the files it actually needs to patch. I disregarded most of the ancient tutorial and just FTP'd the files out of the installation (and will FTP them back in)
