So every screenshot I take via PS+Start are corrupt data in the Photos app and saved with a .bmp extension when I browse ux0:pictures. But they're actually PNG files and will open in Vitashell properly once renamed. Plugins being used: ReScreeny and PngShot. They worked together without a problem on my old Vita.

I guess for starters you can try to turn off ReScreeny for tests and see if it will help. Maybe they are in conflict somehow. Why now and not then is beyond me. Could also be that some OTHER plugin is doing something bad between these two.

QAScreenshot was the culprit. Wish AutoPlugin II would warn about incompatible plugin combinations.

That was your first mistake, using AutoPlugin instead of doing it manually.
Believe me or not, 95% of people that was coming to help section on HENkaku chat were haunted by AutoPlugin to the point that first question most of us was asking was "AutoPlugin?" with practically any money bet that the answer will be "Yes".
I can't blame you tough, AutoPlugin advertises itself as "ultimate answer" AND TechJames or whatever also was trying to advertise it as "oh-so-greatest" even tough it (almost) broke his Vita and probably more than one.
So here is the advice for the future, always install plugins manually and have a backup on hand (also Enso in case of explosions), that way you will be able to get to the bottom of the problem much quicker or people here will be able to help quicker.
I admit I should've asked for AutoPlugin first but I guess deep down I hoped that piece of junk died out already.

AP is the good software for whom who knows what it doing.
So is doing everything manually plus easier to debug if something happens.
Automatic is not always better than manual.
Guess how many times I had a problem of such a nature while doing stuff manually, if you guessed anything above zero then you guessed wrong. The "worst" case I can think of was when I tried to load wrong version of a plugin that is very sensitive on software version and Vita wouldn't boot up, but here is the thing, I knew it's his fault because I MANUALLY loaded him last so undoing it was the matter of reversing the process, simple and clear.
I do not exaggerate when I say that 95% of "my Vita doesn't work" problems on the HENkaku chat were CAUSED by AutoPlugin.
If one can learn how to use AutoPlugin, one can learn to do stuff manually, it will take less time and less pain for sure.
Learning AutoPlugin is waste of time, simply put.
