Hello guys im using pendrives for my games but one is not fat32 and does not detect my folders,is this implemented? Or am i doing something wrong? @Joseito said that his USB wasnt FAT32.

Most homebrew apps dont support other USB formats (exFAT, NTFS). You could need to format the USB to FAT32 using tools like FAT32 GUI Formatter (idk what is the name).

im pretty sure its downloadable in @XFlak's ModMii: http://modmii.github.io

Hey guys!
I have been having an amazing time realizing most PSX games run now with WiiStation, the LightRec is a work of art, and all the other options (240p works great with my CRT, for example) are also amazing!

Thank you VERY MUCH to all involved!

Now, I have a small question:

I downloaded the Rhapsodii Shima SD pack for WFL when I got my CRT this month.
At the time I also updated my PlugIns with the updated 2023 (the latest) packs
Because of this I can launch WiiStation (with LightRec) from WiiFlowLight through Rhapsodii Shima SD.

BUUUUUT when I went to HomeBrewChannel and opened HomeBrew Browser (The Repository of PlugIns to download directly to the Wii) I found WiiStation did not appeared as if I had I already, or as if I needed to update, it simply offered me to Download as if it was the first time.. as if I did not have it already...

I tried to check which version I have through HomeBrewChannel (My WiiStation does appear locally) but I could not find a Version History for traceability.

So I am left wondering... what about the version at HomeBrew Browser?
Will we be able to update there at some point?
Should we stick with updating WiiStation with files provided in this thread?

Should I wait until the next PlugIns Megapack?

I would love to keep up with current advances of WiiStation and do not mind copying files manually, I just do not want to mess my installation... reason why I did not click on "Download" from the HomeBrew Browser app.

Thank you for your time guys!

Much Love and Respect!

The versions posted by @SaulFabre are the latest updates to the repository on Github, which even has one more update made by @xjsxjs197 recently and is not here for download yet

I'm working right now for backport some latest changes made by the brilliant user notaz from his PCSX-ReARMed to WiiStation.
I'll build a new dol file shortly.

The location for homebrew, where HBC and presumably that browser looks, is Drive:\apps\
The location for Wiiflow plugins, where Wiiflow looks, is Drive:\wiiflow\plugins

It sounds like the browser you're using is looking in \apps and not finding Wiistation, because the Wiistation you're using is in the wiiflow folder. It is likely the next plugins pack will have an updated version of the Wiistation plugin.

If you want to update it yourself, just replace the previously installed wiistation .dol file (that's the executable) with the new one, in the same place, renamed to have the same filename, as it is now in Drive:\wiiflow\plugins. Be sure to make a backup of your current (probably SD card) files first.

idk why is the problem with people on the wii and flash drives, i guess theyre not all compatible, but i have 6 and all work
Same here.

I have 6 or 7 generic usb sticks (4Go only though) that works flawlessly with the Wii and any apps I use.

I guess it's just a hit or miss with USB sticks, that's why they have this bad reputation.

Thank you all for your swift support!

So I will be updating manually, out of love for WiiStation, so I do not have to wait for the next WiiFlow PlugIn MegaPack, I want to experience all the goodness ASAP, KEK.

I am just left with one question:

** Is the HomeBrew Browser version of WiiStation maintained at all? **

I reckon it might have more updates than the WiiFlow PlugIn MegaPack, simply because it is a single emulator to maintain, and way easier to update and curate, but I have no idea about how accurate, reliable, updated, or maintained HomeBre Browser is in general, let alone regarding WiiStation.

Thank you all for your great effort!
