Using Pokemon Chest to inject .pkm files?

Hi all, I have recently started using pokemon cheston my DSi XL and thought there was a way to inject WC / event pokemon? I have found some .pkm files for gen 4-5 and .pk3 for gen 3, but when I try to use the "inject" option in Pokemon Chest it doesn't find my files. I stored them in the "In" folder on my SD and while it can see the folders, it's registering them all as empty. What gives?

The .pkm files probably need to be renamed to .pk4 or .pk5 respectively for their generation, odd that the .pk3 files aren't working though...

Yup, that did the trick. The .pk3 files I already had were for a different region game I think... Or maybe I was just remembering wrong and they worked. Anyways thank you!
