Pong was my first also, then Original (home ver.) Packman

The first game to addict me was either Civ 2 or Advance Wars/Fire Emblem

Funny story, I bought it (A.W.) and returned it the same day. I repurchased it the next day (when the mechanics finally stuck with me). Loved those ever since.

PS I still have yet to finish the GBA editions yet.

Pong was my first one too. My dad came home in the late 70’s with a Commodore TV Game pong clone. It was riveting to play, but it had a built in speaker that had no volume control and it very quickly got annoying to my parents. We didn’t get to play it very often.

It's difficult to say what was the first. I grew up with the C64 where we had lots of games on each cassette so I always played 4-5 different games each time I played.
But the first game that I really got into was "The last Ninja". The music and atmosphere in the game was fantastic for 7 year old me. I really struggled getting past the second level but I played it over and over again for over a year. To this day I can still hear the music inside my head, wonderful SID tunes!

Master System.

just rebought it, to play again...

edit: !!!!! actually, maybe Chuck Norris Karate for the Spectrum 48K

There are people here from every age, impressive. From pong to wii stuff.

Anyway. My first console was a master system when I was 3, I had no cartridge and mine came with Alex Kidd on the memory.

My cousins had an Atari 2600 or one of it's clones before I got my master system, so maybe I had played some boxing or pitfall there before.
