Wow, that's incredible.

You mean my favourite Atari XL game could have looked like that instead of like this, had the dev team just spent 35 more years on optimization?

Damn rushed releases, smh. I blame the publishers :ha:

(No but seriously now, that's really impressive.)

@VinsCool could have made a far better soundtrack :3
I doubt it, but coincidentally, I was actually credited for the in-game BGM of this Tetris Attack clone, which was also released during the Lost Party 2023 :D

I wonder if the Atari can run anything else than E.T. or DOOM for that matter.

Still, a very impressive port. :D

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
