Hello guys quick question

I just bought myself an unpatched v1 switch, and i was wondering if it matters wich firmware it has when i receive it.

Obviously i am gonna install atmosphere with the jig.

And should i update it to 16.0.3 first? Or doesn't it really matter?

If it is unpatched the firmware doesn't matter.

Update it to latest and set up console with correct date and time. Don’t link Nintendo account and then proceed with modding following the rentry guide. You’ll want to set up and create CFW on EmuNAND/EmuMMC

But can you post me a link for a guide to setup emuMMC? I already know how to install CFW but i want my sysNAND original indeed.

u definitely want to link a switch account before hacking if you want to run nso n64, snes,etc

Nah i don't care about the nso stuff. I got a original N64 with everdrive, and a wii + wiiu for classics

Btw doesn't realy matter if you leave the sysNAND original?

Nah not necessary. You can link a fake one later in tinfoil.
