Sadly there is not a temporary fix solution u will have to replace the screen
fortunately, the screen is still very usable. I'll just have to get a new screen 🤷🏽

The picture isn't very good. Depending on what is damaged you will need a new touch panel only or also an LCD.
I've seen the touch panel crack badly without the LCD below getting any damage. Touch is a very cheap spare part.

There are good guides on ifixit.com
Take your time and be careful with the ZIF connectors.

The picture isn't very good. Depending on what is damaged you will need a new touch panel only or also an LCD.

It is not that important. You can see it better than anybody on a picture.
The touch panel is a weak, relatively soft plastic that can break and show ugly cracks. If the LCD is damaged some pixels/lines/areas won't show anything or some rainbow effect.
Look from different angles. Should be easy to spot if the LCD survived.
