Anyone have a link to good guide to setting up a freshly installed Picofly?

If not, can the sthetix HATS be used and just use the picofly payload instead of the included hwfly?

Picofly fall under hwfly family, so hats work fine.

Question if anyone could help out.Got lineage 18.1 running on Mariko and it runs no bother till I turn off/restart it and have to reboot back into it.When I'm booting back into lineage most of the times it gets suck in the boot loop animation when it does I turn the console off and back on until it ends up booting lineage and running well again.Basically sometimes it boots and works sometimes it doesn't and gets stuck in the animation loop.Any tips to solve this?Or noob question here, how could I totally remove/uninstall the current lineage I'm running and do a clean reinstall?If I'm going recovery mode and try wipe data it I'm getting error and won't work.

why would you remove the chip? if the emmc is close to diying just run off the emummc

It doesn't boot emummc, see the photos I've attached to my original post, that package1 error.

A while ago i asked for a up to date guide to upgrade my CFW firmware (horizon) to the latest version.

Someone suggested https://rentry.org/UpdateCFW and it took me until today to start doing the process, but this section (from what i can see at least) only explains how to update atmo/hekate + sigpatches, not horizon OS. Can anyone guide me to the right direction please?

That isn't a very good guide that you linked. In fact, you don't need a guide for updating CFW. It usually is as simple as downloading the latest files then putting them on your SD card. For best results, its recommended to delete your old /atmosphere folder first. The newest Atmosphere can always be found on its official GitHub page. If you use Hekate, you have to download that as well which you can find on its GitHub page. And if you pirate, you must get the most recent patches from this thread.

Just traded in my ps4 and my v2 for a Splatoon edition OLED and for some cash. Gonna spend the cash on installing the modchip for my OLED. I told the guy that I could handle the sd card and other stuff after the installation of the chip. I used to actually know some tutorials on the internet showing how to prepare the SD card and other stuff. But I can't really seem to find them anymore. Can you guys point me out to a hacking guide for an OLED? (He told me that he was using HWFLY but I do not know if they are the older original HWFLY ones or the new picofly based ones)

No, don't use the AIO Updater. Its a very glitchy and buggy tool that causes more issues than it solves. You can instead use the homebrew application Daybreak which comes bundled with Atmosphere.

Seems I don't have an emunand setup, when i boot the switch with hekate, i always pick the syscfw option, is it safe then right?

it's safe as long as you aren't intending to do online gaming but anyway, just try to copy the files and see if it works, won't hurt anything. I believe it's going to just work though.

I'm currently playing totk using an emulator but own a physical copy. I would like to move my save file using jksv to transfer to my sysnand so I can continue playing on my console using ofw. I am using 90dns & airplane mode on a console with no accounts linked just for precaution. I have no games installed that I don't already own physically and the only homebrew apps I have installed are jksv and the ones from the jits aio.
Has anyone used this method without getting their console and/or account banned? If so, could you tell me how you did it? I'm assuming it's just launching cfw on your sysnand and restoring the save in jksv but I don't know if it's as simple as that.
I'm not exactly sure how they detect anything but from what I've heard on here is that using modded save files for games that use online functions could lead to those issues, but I have no intentions of using this for any other game.
Should there be any other precautions I should take when doing this? Would it be safe to continue playing on the same console with my account linked or would it be better to have another cleaner console to transfer the sava data to?

Yes, you can just copy the contents over to a new SD Card. Make sure they are formatted the same was (exfat/fat32/etc). One thing to note, nobody recommends using CFW on the system nand. It can be done. But if you don't play it safe, you can get banned much easier than on emunand. You don't have to partition your SD Card for emunand. You can do a file based approach. This is what I do.

Hello. Uh, so, my switch froze while loading Totk a few minutes ago and wasn't accepting any inputs. I tried to turn it off and i think it's either frozen to the point it can't turn off or the battery died... again. I don't know.
I hope it's just the battery dying again because that's easy to repair for me, but i wanted to ask here-
The light on the dock turns on for a second and then goes out, so i'm not sure if it's in rcm mode and my computer just isn't detecting it? I tegrarcm doesn't seem to tell me that anything's connected.
EDIT: nvm, i didn't have a driver on my new pc for the switch tegrarcm to work ... thank god i didn't impulsively do anything stupid

Hey there, I have a question:

I bought myself a new switch with a download code for animal crossing new horizons.
So now I have two systems, one hacked and banned and one which I want to use without hacking so that I could use online services.

And now I'm curious about how I can copy the savegame of my Animal Crossing New Horizons from my old hacked switch to my new one.
And am I be able to use Pokémon Home on my new Switch with the Pokémon game on my hacked switch (I don't want to copy the savegame to my new one)?
And last but not least: I still want to edit my Animal Crossing Savefile with the New Horizons Save Editor and play it on the new Switch.
How is that possible?

Its impossible to transfer save data from a banned console to one that isn't banned without hacking both consoles.

You can use Pokemon Home on your new console regardless of the format of the game.

It is impossible for you to use edited save file on the new Switch without hacking it.

I'm not sure if bans work like this, but I would just like to know if it's restricted before linking my account and putting it in jeopardy.

You will get an error message when trying to connect to the eShop. You do not need a linked Nintendo Account to check if you're banned. Depending on the ban, you may also be unable to update games. For futher information regarding bans, you can check this thread.

That's the neat part; you don't. Any usage of CFW/homebrew as you know with your previous console. So you have to decide if your save data is worth your access to online. If it were up to me, I wouldn't risk it as I would already have a hacked and banned console. Adding another would not be ideal.

i got an popup saying corrupted data was detected and it wanted to scan/check but i cancelled, i went to sigmapatches as i was a thread that suggested updating the sig but now i get a blank box with a looping circle and a cloud icon for all the games i just installed

Don't use the ones from sigmapatches. They aren't a good source of patches. Instead, use the ones from this thread.

Okay thank you. There is still one question coming up to my mind: I want to edit the savegame of ACNH because of getting items, other neighbors and so on. I think I will connect both of my ACNH games, the one I have now edited with Save Manager online on my banned switch and the new one, with local play and trade the items and neigbors and whatever. Is that save or is there a risk that my new switch will get banned?
