You might have to transfer the chip on to a new emmc board, it is quite unless since you need a working emmc to create an emunand. Also since you don't have a NAND backup you can't even use a new emmc.
hmm i guess ill buy a new nand chip and follow a guide like this youtu. be/mH8osmtPFlA (cant post links yet)

You can do that I guess, but keep in mind it is a donor nand so you can't go online.
thats fine with me. guess ill order the parts now
Also i found the problem. i thought the RST pad and the pad that was next to it was also rst, so i soldered those together. well no, one is a ground and im an idiot

Hopefully it didnt kill the switch( i was getting RST errors so lines up with my solution)

yea, that part I know. but how do I know which ones are fake VS real? there are so many different listings and I'm also not totally sure what all I need outside of the soldering stuff

There is really no fake board, it just take a while to get it from China.

Hi guys. Need some help with my switch on dock mode. I'm going to try my best to give the details on what's going on and all the research I've done:

The Issue: I connect my switch to the dock then when I open up every game to play it crashes within minutes saying "The software was closed because an error occurred." The games this happens are Super Mario 3D World, Zelda BOTW, Xenoblade 2, bascially every game I try I get that error message saying "The software was closed because an error occurred.", the only difference is the time, may happens in tittle screen (Mario) or after some minutes of gameplay (like Zelda or Xenoblade).

What I've Done:

So far I've done is talked with nintendo support and we went through a bunch of steps from making sure the software/firmware is updated, to uninstalling and reinstalling the game. None of it worked.

I've bought a USB Type-C to HDMI & USB 3.0 with Power Delivery and it did not work either. I tried other official Docks and it didn't work either.

I've gone through a bunch of reddit posts which were not helpful.

OBS: The games run fine in handheld mode. The dock and my cables are all official.

h2testw the sd card.

hello, new here,
and probably asking a repeated question, but I did use search i promise.

looking to mod a v2 non-led switch, with one of those mail - in services.

what would you guys recommend,

Should I go with a pico fly or hwfly

with one of the chips available on Aliexpress something like: t i ny ur l . co m / 2p 9 ce8 hs , -> similar exist for hwfly
.don't want to go the custom microcontroller route with pico chip as the pre-assembled boards like the one above are much neater.

my requirements are pretty much average,

- ability to boot into ofw (may be as a default) as the switch is a shared one.
- and boot to cfw + atmosphere for myself.
- the chip firmware itslef should be flashable / upgradable without too much of ahassle like ripping out wires or soldering.
things like open switch, connect usb cable and upgrade is fine.
- OFW will be online, need online play (the full switch experience). CFW (emummc) would be the hacky bit with offline play only, or may be some online things.
- Any general good to know things that apply for modchip + cf, like never nver booting to sysnand + cfw from hekate launch menu, Always using reboot -> OFW to boot to OFW etc?
- can someone point me to a good guide for setting up the cfw (hekate + atmosphere + emummc and the stuff)? .
All tutorials I could find talk about v1 software methods, but nothing that I could find specifically for mod chip. I know that at some points the steps are same , but I am looking for instructions on what to do right after installing just the modchip, how to setup sd card for use with modchip, which button combination to use to load to hekate etc.

Thank you!

hii, i have a problem. so today i've updated my switch cfw to 16.0.3 and atmosphere 1.5.4 , updated sigpatches to latest ver. but when i download totk 1.1.1 it says game is corrupted. I've tried redownload atmosphere, hetake, sigpatches , etc and reinstall totk 1.0.0, and now it only give me two options which is cancel and update the game only.
Can anyone tell me whats the problem :.)))) Thanks in advance

I noticed the 1.1.2 update for TotK requires firmware 16..0.3 but Atmosphere (on the Homebrew SD Set up site) hasn't been updated since May 1st, so I am wondering if its safe to update yet.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sd setup is slow with their files. Keep in mind 1.1.2 patch duplication glitch.

h2testw the sd card.
The SD Card had no problems, I even tested others, but the problem continues, the games only has troubles in dock mode, I tried different TV either, ad same error. "The Software was closed because an error ocurred" pop us after a few minutes of play.

Update: I was able to fix it!

Reinstalled the chip with better wiring, replaced resistors on CMD and DAT0 lines with 100 Ohm ones, which fixed the slow eMMC warnings, and performed NAND rebuild which fixed the pkg1 error.

Got Switch Lite with freshly installed picofly, getting an error trying to boot emunand: Package1 seems corrupt!

When trying to boot Warmboot fix:

When trying to dump package1/2:

Picofly is flashed with latest firmware 2.73. It flashes red shortly when I turn on the console and boots into hekate.

UPDATE:
I also get this on eMMC info page:

Is there a way to fix it?
