Wow, i guess people were right. a lot of Tech stocks going down the drain, it seems.
People were right, this did happen a lot faster than i thought it would.

It didn't "burst" until RAM and storage prices are back to 2024 prices, until then it's just "sparkling market fluctuation."
with the DRAM cartel being what it is, and if we look at the last time they had such a lawsuit going... that can take a decade

I honestly can't tell if you are trolling us anymore, Naka. Your posts are so outlandish -- especially this one -- that it really can't be anything but trolling. Trust me, when the bubble actually bursts in 5 years, you won't need to post a "User Submitted News" to GBATemp.net.

If they surgically removed everything about you that was shit all that'd be left would be an empty sack of skin.

as someone who isnt a big fan of AI but has invested in stocks that are based on AI development I dont see the bubble bursting right now. There are some ebs and flows in a speculative market but there is no bubble bursting.

There are a couple specific stocks that arent performing well but as a whole the AI gravy train is still making money

You have a valid point, when someone disagrees or makes a joke he tends to outburst at them good example is how he quoted your post. Unless it's from a user and he favors them.

i dont know if i would say your out of touch as much as you might be seeking confirmation bias. there is definitely alot of overvalued stocks that are currently floating high based on continued investment and not based off profit but there are sectors of AI infrastructure that are churning out good profits that arent based totally on speculation.

its not as easy as just lumping it all together and saying AI bubble is going to burst. there will be alot of individual stocks that will burst and are close to it but there are individual companies that are diversified that are heavily involved in AI that arent going to burst and when the stock market as a whole goes into correction mode will still come out on top if your a smart investor.

we shall see. all i want is for jensen and altman to eat shit and for me to buy ram and gpus again.
i care about little else. everything else is secondary.
as long as jensen is quietly choking on his own jacket im not gonna complain.

I am with you 100% on being able to buy RAM and GPU's again. I have been putting off buying some HD's and building a new computer and where things are at now it feels like a pipe dream to get what I was able to get a couple years ago and continue doing what I have been all my life building a new computer and staying on top of new tech.

i am not sure if the AI bubble burst would make that easier to achieve or not. It just feels like things for the common man are getting harder and harder to achieve and it sucks.

i bought a used 20tb HDD, it was fairly new from someones RMA and i wasnt unhappy with the deal i got. but over 300 for it?
We never would have paid that much back in the day... and i was lucky to get it, too!
.... theyre well voer 650 euro now

I have been reading the news about this and the situation in South Korea is pretty bad atm, I have no doubt it will eventually burst globally, the question is when rather than if (according to several economists from what I have read at least).

While I want it to burst like most people, the problem is the consequences that this will have. It will be something akin to the 2008 crash (although not as bad since there are more safety measures, it will still be pretty catastrophic) and a lot of people will lost everything.

youre right, we are not getting away from the suffering thats gonna cause, theres no way to escape that... but i have to believe we will STILL be better off without it than living in a future dominated by cloud AI.

Honestly, while I won't feel sorry for certain companies going bankrupt due to investments in AI, others that didn't invest will also suffer due to the domino effect.

Will wait for my boy Atrioc / Big A for confirmation. If he says we're catching fire and burning alive over the AI bubble, I'll pop open a beer or two.

The recent price changes seem due to china being better at making chips than we thought, rather than the AI bubble bursting.

The biggest threat to AI currently is that everyone is realising how they are subsidising the utility bills of the AI data centers.
