Did you just plugged it in the sd card slot? Because that's not going to work as an external storage.

You need a legit card not these bootleg card, and you don't need a 1TB card.

64GB SD is plenty, if you are using NUSspli to install game, you should get a hard drive to store games instead.

Get a name brand like Sandisk or Samsung instead, depending on how big your system emmc is, 64GB is recommended if you have a 32GB NAND, so you have enough space to make a NAND backup.

You could try to figure out the true size with tools like h2wtest and create a smaller partition that fits on the real size. But it could still be unreliable and I don't think it's worth the effort. Better get a good card and enjoy having less anyoning problems
