Due to memory/RAM limitations, it simply isn't possible.Would it ever be possible?
It's why a Memory Expansion Pak is required on DS Lite.

The issue is likely that there's no autoboot file for the EZ-Flash V.So it seems like on the DS lite with a EZ-flash V plus, there isn't much I can do
like homebrew menu, or RetroGameFan or Twilight menu?
The card is great and I can run some homebrew stuff and emulators, music and stuff
but I guess it's pretty maxed out at this point. Seems like I would need a different flash card
for Twilight to work on the DS lite? I've been around the forum and discord and it seems
like there isn't much more I can do with it!
I think the Wood R4 kernel should work. Also, have you tried a different card?hi Robz, I own a card "new r4 sdhc dual core (i think 2013)" for 3ds and dsi that I can not make it work, I tried to put in the programs but every time I insert it in the 3ds and boot me from an error, I also formatted the micro sd 2GB format "fat32", I can not understand where is the problem, if it was the 3ds too updated or something else, if you have any suggestions thank you in advance.
i attach a photo of my r4

Wouldn't YSMenu just simply brick such cart? Then try with YSmenu.

Help: save file problems! I just homebrewed a DSi XL and I'm using TWilightmenu++ to run DS and DSiWare games. So far it works beautifully--EXCEPT that the save files aren't working for any games. I've tried about a dozen games. I did check my SD card with h2testw before homebrewing. My SD card is unlocked. When I launch a game, a save file is created. But when I looked in the save folder of my SD card, all the save files of the games I've played are empty (all showing as 0 KB). And when I relaunch a game, a save file is created from scratch all over again. Any suggestions??
Isn't timebomb reside only on such carts with the years 2014 and higher? It is a timebomb cart so it is self bricking. Formating the sd card and setting the date far enough back should let you use the firmware that comes with the card if everything else fails.

Yes, that's right, but only for years 2014 and up.That specific brand seems to always use the same cards and just change the front and what year the time bomb will happen with newer versions. I only bought one because it was in the compatibility list for the old 2DS haciing flashcard method.
Backup and then format the card, make sure it is in 32 bit format and that the card is not in read only mode.

What are you talking about? Stop confusing yourself and confusing others. What firmware ended working for that card anyway? And did that get rid of the timebomb?
I have the 2018 model specifically the "R4 SDHC Dual-Core 2018" url :r4isdhc.comIf it's a Ace3DS+ clone card, just put wood r4 v1.62 on it.
