Maybe compatible with usa version too (not tested): change the folder name to SCUS-97472
To change button style, just copy-paste (and overwrite) one of the dds file from the "optional" folder to the UI folder.

Install:

• Download the latest Pcsx2 nightly build (v1.7.2404 +).
• Extract the folder to the pcsx2 texture folder (...\Pcsx2\textures\SCES-53326\replacements). SSD recommended!!
• Config > Graphics Settings > Advanced tab:
  Dump Textures: OFF | Load Texture: ON | Async Texture Loading: ON
• Have fun!

This is very nice Sir, finally somebody takes a look into the upscaling for the best PS2 game ever made. (And PAL version!)
I tried myself in the past and I upscaled 80% of the game but I gave up because some of the textures "For example the green trees with the fruits" looked with a washed colors (Maybe because I upscaled using a wrong method without transparency"

Maybe because you're using USA version of the game and you can only see the few texture that are compatible within EUR and USA versions. This pack is for EUR version, and the one of Bl4ckH4nd is for USA, that's the reason why you can see more updated textures compared with this one.

Do you think one person will work manually on each of several thousand textures? I doubt that even developers on payroll are doing this. Everything is run through AI programs. And if some guys work with some kind of textures in Photoshop, then I doubt that there will be many of them. UI, I think, characters is possible and some objects on some locations. They work manually with all textures and even for free...as for me, you have nothing to complain about. Do as I do. Take what they give you. If you don't like it, well...it's up to you. Someone else will take it.

It's a pretty night and day difference to me bro. Talking down on the hard and amazing work the people are doing here for free in such vague and unspecific terms, casually dismissing the work of someone who manually upscaled thousands of textures by hands...It's really quite disrespectful! The pack looks amazing to me, and I appreciate the hard work they put into making it.

Here guys just make packs (for free), mostly for themselves (at least I did for myself), and share simply because why not. night and day difference? only a little better

Here is an impromptu screenshot from my stream of the game with the texture pack, compared to the PS2 original. You'd have to be blind or stupid to not be able to tell the difference. As we can clearly tell you are not blind, all signs seem to point to the latter being the case with you.

I'm still convinced that you're not noticing so much difference with this pack because you're using USA version of the game. Most of the texture packs are not compatible within regions, and maybe you can only see a few textures updated with this pack because 90% of the textures here are only for the PAL version, they don't have the same hashes or names.
