Will this ever be available for Twighlight Menu? I've tried for 3+ hrs, dumping and repatching Roms, and even converting other saves. It runs on Boot.loader I think
In order to load the .sav in TM++ you need to put the .sav file on a "saves" folder. This folder must be in the same location as the .rom!
Hi everyone !
Really excited to play this patch, brough me back to my childhood when my first pokémon game was Pokémon Yellow.
However, is there any way to know what wild pokémon we could catch ? I understand you modify the localization of pokémon.
I'd really appreciate to have some information about what pokémon I could find in different areas.
I know the fun is sometime to explore and all, but it takes times I have not

Thanks for the amazing work on this rom !
Thanks, bro! Currently i don't have the locations' sheet though :(

Its 100% finished hack of the game? I started playing heart gold. But maybe i try this. Off course if game not crash anywhere whrn i play on my DSi XL

Yes, full game ;)

Also I’m working on a new patch! It will be the biggest update since Arceus event.

Stay tuned!

Is this compatible with Drastic? Also is there a documentation of this hack?

has anyone figured out how to load the .sav file for openemu on mac? I patched the rom correctly, and placed the .sav file (renamed to match the rom name) into my battery saves folder

but the character is still blocking my entrance in the beginning, claiming i didn't load the .sav file correctly.

if you know how to do this with open emu on mac, plz help!

I'm running into some issues trying to get the game to start. I'm wondering if you could assist?
When I try running the patched version of the game in desmume on my PC, I get the following error messages:
from the guy in the house: "If you started the game here it means you didn't load the .sav file. Please read the notes and watch my tutorial at youtube." I've done this.
In the desmume command line:
MC9: Unverified Backup Memory command: 08 FROM 020DDDAC
MC9: Unverified Backup Memory command: 08 FROM 020DDE54
MC9: Unverified Backup Memory command: 08 FROM 020DDDAC
MC9: Unverified Backup Memory command: 08 FROM 020DDE54

I'm 100% sure i did the patching correctly so i'm not sure why this would be happening.
Please let me know if you can assist with this.
Thanks-

Rom is well patched since the guys is stopping you. Only thing you need is to click on "Import backup" from emulator and load the .sav file that comes with the Silver Yellow's zip

If you're trying to get this to work on Delta, rename the .sav file to .dsv and it'll work

Also don't forget to rename the .dsv to the game id that Delta gives the game

I have been trying for almost 2 days now but I am trying to play this rom hack through twilight menu on my 3ds but whenever I try to play the game something goes wrong. I am able to get the games main screen and to the save file screen but whenever i click on the save file to play, a red screen appears saying error: data abort. I have no idea what to do. The save file i am trying to load is the .sav file provided from the pokemon silver yellow.zip but one thing i happen to have noticed was that the time on the save file screen for the save shows 0:00, but when I watched yt videos of people loading it for their first time. Their save file showed 0:01. I don't know if that affects anything but I just cannot get past the save file screen. I also patched the game and followed the readme instructions. Creator or anybody please help me.

Use PKHex to edit the your name then it's as close to being your save file as your going to get. That's what I did.

Can't post link for some reason but if you search it up on google you will find it.
Also go to youtube and search:

How to patch DS/NDS ROMS WITH AP(ANTI-PIRACY) CODE | GOLDIE GAMING

This will help you run the game on your 3ds

This update fixes compatibility quirks with certain solutions like TWiLightMenu. I have no idea if the v2.0 build mentioned in the main thread changelog is still be worked on or if the hack is dead, however, I felt this was necessary because the issue I was presented with via a user utilizing TWiLightMenu showed that simply loading save data yields a crash, which obviously isn't supposed to happen. As for flash cartridges, while some kernels seem fine with the 1.17 build, this isn't the case for every kernel out there.

@brtatu if you are still around, not trying to step on your toes, just providing a solution that works while you work on the next update.

v1.18 - June 27, 2023

I wanna ask you to keep bringing ideias and bugs, it helps me a lot. Thank you for the support!

First of all, thanks @DeadSkullzJr for updating this game version.
It still crashes with a red screen when I put it on my 3DS.
Maybe I am doing something wrong?
It's because the AP patch isn't there in TWiLightMenu yet, I already provided the patch to the developers as seen here:
https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/TWiLightMenu/commit/389ec422241d3496c18f90d48506ee0ed1f83ffb

Temporarily what you can do, go into _nds/TWiLightMenu/extras and create a folder named "apfix". Then stick the IPS patch (do not rename it) inside that folder.
https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/TWiL...f83ffb/resources/apfix/IPGE-30BA.ips?raw=true

Once the update comes you won't need this anymore.
