0.7.2 came out (jan 8) well before the 16.0.0 FW dropped so it’s not needed for that.

I’ve not heard of anything breaking for the folks running 0.7.1.

Keep going with what you have until something doesn’t work is my motto…

Maybe somebody more familiar with the crypto side of the boot process can chime in?

How important is it to update from 0.71 to 0.72?

One thing I can say after updating my oled to 0.72 is that it doesn't fix the random black screen with sandisk sd and skhynix

I just updated to .7.1 my chip came pre installed with sx firmware. I had no idea why some features were not working until I decided to flash .7.1

Now my chip boots much faster and seems more efficient. I didn't flash .7.2 because I figured that was erista and I have Mariko so I didn't bother.

Definitely happy with the firmware.
