I'm planning to take a short trip to the UK travelling using public transport and Uber. I have an Uber account linked to an Australian credit card. Will it work when I'm in the UK? Should I sign up for a British credit card after I arrive instead? Are there other options to travel for those who don't have a car?

Credit cards typically work wherever you are in the world (as long as the retailer/company accepts it), but keep in mind there may be a currency exchange fee if it's not fee-free.

As far as I'm aware you can use your credit card anywhere in the world. Usually Visa and MasterCard work literally everywhere!

It depends on the cards, some cards doesn't work when you try to use it internationally, like buying stuffs from oversea, it might not guarantees it would work.
