I keep getting restart here after loading goldhen now , I don't know what happen

Success around 15 times in a row with 5000ms wait times in v3b than keep getting restart now when trying to loading goldhen

Get too many restart and KP in v3 either with esp32 or usb , need to use original imagehax

Use esp mode 2 and less pressure on esp board..

After nearly a month with V2 i never had a KP where the PS4 shuts down or freez just hanging a bit then goes to home screen, yesterday i tested V3, first attemp is a long shut down kp, then second attemp was a software error, then a success! then the 4th and 5th time i got 4 seconds webkit exploit which most of the time results in failed kernel exploit, i guess down to V2 i go

As leeful said V3 is just luck related, i ain't lucky i guess

Use esp mode 2 and less pressure on esp board..

I'm back using v2 now and with usb
There alot of KP with either v2 or v3 , mostly when trying to loading goldhen

Maybe I should test it into auto loading goldhen

I can't use esp mode 2 coz I don't have wired FO internet

Just curious , can I use mobile hotspot for esp mode 2

If yes , then do I need to active my hotspot everytime I need to jailbreak or it still can be done offline like usual

Only if you uncheck connect to home wifi on the esp setting page, and unplug/plug the esp. But maybe with the new V3 fix, If your home wifi (hotspot) is not reachable, it will go back to esp mode by itself haven’t tested ).

Will do when I go back from work , but you do realise that you will need to change your PS4 network settings every time you switch from esp mode and esp mode 2 ? So don’t really see the “benefit “ .
I use esp mode 2 so I can have PS4 connected (via dns) and update some
Apps and cheat manager.

Same happened to me, sleep mode is the cause.
Deactivate it (I just did it).

yeah does sleep mode even work in esp mode? cuz I definitely don't get a lost wifi connection popup

Usually nearly 2 hours before that notif pop up if you don't enable sleep mode

Do you know that the hob gets hot if it is kept on? in my esp I have set the sleep in 10 minutes for the same (in addition, with my sketch I have activated the status light of the plate, to know when it is on)

So, my testing with my config, If ESP mode 2 can't reach your home wifi (wired or hotspot), the menu will switch to ESP mode by itself (if you change PS4 internet settings to communicate to the ESP), and no issues for jailbreak.
But to switch back to ESP mode 2, I had to enter ESP menu and do a save settings again, (without changing anything on the ESP), otherwise the menu will not recognize the ESP and expect a USB stick, even if ESP and PS4 were connected correctly on my network.
Maybe @Leeful knows why

When ever you want to change modes you must enter the config page and save the settings.
When ever you save the settings it save localstorage values that the menu uses to know what mode to use.

that's what I understood, but I didn't unchecked the "connect to home wifi", I just saved settings, (without changing anything on the ESP config, unplugged/plugged the ESP) and everything worked, you're a master @Leeful

Most of my restart or KP with v3 or even v2 is coming from when we need to load goldhen

I still not use auto load goldhen on , do you think this is main reason why it's became unstable ?

@Leeful I ask the same thing again (I hope you don't mind, but I have not received any answer) if you plan to release a version similar to leeful v5 for esp32 that is official or a Lite version of ps-phive? I have been using v5 of kame, but there are times when the console freezes or directly, it gives me kp.
