I bricked my new 3ds and tried to fix it myself, and messed up even more. Now I am stuck with an unsupported mcu fw version error. Can I send my 3ds to someone online to repair, hoping they can fix CFW.

This isn't an MCU brick. An MCU brick would mean the 3DS would fail to power on at all, and there's literally nothing you can do to fix it. iirc, this error is thrown by Luma3DS when attempting to boot very old firmware versions, versions that don't even belong on a n3DSWhat you do to cause the mcu brick?

My guess is that they somehow ctrtransferred to version 3.0.0 or below. Those are the firmware versions that cause Luma3DS to throw out this error.Still Im curious what he did.

wdym you bricked if after dropping it? What happened when you tried to power it on (before you tried to fix it)?Sorry for the late reply, I had recently bricked my 3ds xl by dropping it while running a gba game. I tried to fix it by downloading new CFW and replacing some files. But I ended up deleting all of the old files by mistake. So now I am left with a mcu fw error whenever I try to turn it on with or without holding start. So I was wondering if I could send my 3DS to anybody so it could get fixed. Is there any hope left?

My bet is that the SD card may have simply been jostled a bit, causing it to not be read, and you removing and reinserting it probably would've fixed it. eStarland probably doesn't know what the fuck a "homebrew" is (or if they do, they're probably not allowed to work with it due to contracts with Nintendo). Video guides are honestly terrible, they often become outdated fast or just straight up have wrong information. It's very important to know the exact video you followed, as sthetix has multiple videos on the subject.I was playing a GBA game, I dropped it then got the black screen blue light thing. I tried to turn it on using start and a whole bunch of other guides and tricks online but none work. I then sent it to estarland to get a diagnostic, they said it was bricked and couldn't fix it so they sent it back. I then tried a guide by a YouTuber named sthetix to unbrick my system, and instead of replacing the existing files I replaced all of them. That is where I am now, I was hoping if anybody could fix it because I have no clue what to do anymore.

We'll guide you through fixing it yourself, we just need to know *what* exactly you did to determine what state the console is inI can tell that I messed up really bad, and even if they're untrustworthy you said you know some people who might be able to repair/fix my problem.
The video I tried to follow was use this video to fix the "unable to mount ctrnand" and at 2:15 in the video, instead of replacing existing files, I replaced everything. I can showva picture of it's current stateWe'll guide you through fixing it yourself, we just need to know *what* exactly you did to determine what state the console is in
Please do. But from what you are explaining it sounds more like the SD slot is damaged than anything. The video I tried to follow was use this video to fix the "unable to mount ctrnand" and at 2:15 in the video, instead of replacing existing files, I replaced everything. I have no idea what video you're talking about because you still haven't sent it. Please just send a link to the videoThe video I tried to follow was use this video to fix the "unable to mount ctrnand" and at 2:15 in the video, instead of replacing existing files, I replaced everything. Thanks for all the help so far, I don't think my SD is damaged, but here's the link to the videoI have no idea what video you're talking about because you still haven't sent it. Please just send a link to the video
