Don't rlly know if iam all set it looks like it :X still a switch noob here.
I follow this https://rentry.org/EmuNANDNewSDcard#nxnandmanager nx method but after booting it just orders me to redownload my games so i look at the emummc.ini and change it a little, swap that emutendo folder for just nintendo and bring back old folder names for things inside Emummc. I don't touch that sector id becouse if it works i think is good xD Is it good?

There’s no way you’d have your games and saves and such if your emunand wasn’t working.

Check your Firmware version and make sure it looks like this:

15.0.1 | AMS 1.4.0E

The E on the end tells you that your on Emunand. If you have an S instead that means you are on Sysnand.

Still idk why my older card behaves like sh** in switch i run some tests on it and looks like the card is perfectly fine

Maybe do a deep format on your old card with something like rufus?

Pretty dumb question but It's because I'm not used to this kind of stuff this much but every time I have to use JKSV on my sysnand I always go offline, then boot atmosphere and do what I have to do, but this time I forgot to go disconnect on Wi-Fi and I booted Atmo on sysnand, what are the odds that I'm screwed?

Hello, I've been having a very weird problem which I could replicate with a different SD card with the same setup.
Clean atmosphere install fusee updated and hekate will boot to a black screen after nintendo and will boot to ams normally if you reboot. The weird part begins when if you reboot again, it's a black screen, then normal, black screen, normal, black screen, normal.

Every other boot I get a black screen and wasted several hours to:

• redo emunand
• try clean atmos
• try atmos with sysmodules
• no sigpatches
• with sigpatches
• Entirely different SD card with clean atmos install

Still getting black screen every other boot. What would be causing this? Is the SD card reader failing? I am having no issues booting to OFW. I am skeptical on the SD card reader failing because when it boots everything else works perfectly no hitches no nothing.

Do you have naughty stuff running when you went Online? NSPs, XCIs, cheats? If so you might be at risk. Typically just having AMS is not a ban. JKSV isn’t a huge risk either. Each thing adds up though and increases your profile. We only have anecdotal info…not a rule book. The only thing you can do now is go and sin no more and be more careful next time.

Nope, I only have "vanilla" Atmosphere and I just exported my Violet save, edited it, re-imported and saved again in-game. Didn't go online in game nor anything, but I just realized I didn't disconnect my Switch while doing so, which is something I usually so.

The Switch reports in immediately and dumps it’s logs. You’re probably OK though as long as there’s no piracy or cheating but the things you did absolutely can expose you to a ban so be more careful. That’s all.

Nah, no cheating nor installing XCI/NSPs has been involved. Just plain save editing.

But if you can replicate the same exact scenario with the same amount of attempts i doubt it is sd card ofc with one exception perhaps if your second sd card is as bad as the first one you will get similar results.

how long it takes you to complete boot after tendo logo disappears on these cards? On my "bad one, it takes some time on my new one it is like 2 sec.

E: IPS patches can do a lot of different things so I would say that Sigpatches are IPS patches but not all IPS patches are Sigpatches. Kinda like that rectangle/square thing.

You have to create a save from the game in question first. Open the games you wish to restore, let them run the first autosave and then run JKSV. You will then see them in JKSV and restore/overwrite them.

Best way to fix sector id is to tell Hekate to fix emunand. It will find it on your SDCard and fix it for you!

This is spot on.


You can also hit (X) on your user icon and it will give you the option to create all save folders for all games. Helpful if you have a bunch to recover.

Oh, can also use Google Drive to share between switches. I just got mine configured this way…it’s the bee’s knees, honestly.

It worked for MotoGP22 but not for Zelda. I started Zelda from the beginning, did alaready multiple saves, but it cannot find the old save from the old SD card! And now, it already have the AUTOsave and also the saves I did from the fresh start, but not the old save!

Do we need to have specific names for folders or files or something like that?
Because in the case of MotoGP, the folder is the titleID but in the case of Zelda, it is the name of the game itself!

Hold the power button until full shutdown? But you boot to the system mmc not emmc after? IF yes that's normally because it is not booting from sd card but if you are pumping some payloade it is normal too because mine always runs after the first injection.

One is a Kioxia 128 GB the other is a Samsung Evo 128 GB, both start failing to boot after a while. When it boots properly both just boot as normal. When it doesn't boot and gets stuck on a black screen I have to force shutdown to boot properly. Right now though I just booted normally back to back right as I was reading your response with 0 changes to the CFW. I think this might be just an SD card going bad I guess? If the reader was broken it'd just straight up not read I'm guessing.

I mean it can be a faulty sd card reader too ofc or something completely different but your symptoms are very similar to mine

Just boot it 10 times on the new sd so far 0 problems and iam using the same copy of atmo and hekate from my old sd

But hey, I made it happen. The second time I created the backup from the old card, O could now find it and load it into the new card.

May I pleas ask how do I install a 6GB NSP?

I have Gold Leaf and Awoo.

I can't transfer it to the FAT32 SD card because it's too large.

I can't break it up with NS-USBLOADER, because the split files are not read by Leaf or Awoo.

I can't install Tinfoil. I have tried repeatedly but it keeps giving an error. Either it says CANNOT INSTALL or 0x0104 MEMORY ERROR when I try the NSP or applet versions.

I have tried to install from PC, but neither leaf or awoo can see the USB cable, so the file can't be read.
