Hey again. I am ready to try updating System FW to 15.0.1 through Daybreak. Do you think that will get rid of message that I am getting and allow me to play gamecart version of Pokemon Violet? Am nervous as not sure what else to do or try if this doesn't work, as it is the currently highest System FW. Thoughts appreciated :)
as far as i know latest pokemon games require firmware 13.0 to run, should be the same for the cartridge also

I updated to 14.0.1 through Daybreak. When I inserted gamecard, message popped up saying I need to update system before game icon will appear on home menu...
never heard of that before, especially the game icon part, might as well update as others have said everything still works on latest firmware, so there's no reason not to.
Post automatically merged:

That if it was XCI converted to NSP, as eshop version of 1.0.0 was 14.1.2 firmware and update was 15.0.0
think it was rev 1.0 thinking about it.

Yo folks, having problem with hekate and launching my usual emuNAND. I have tried updating my hekate_ipl.ini but that only alters the more configs section. For the actual launch I get the message. "No main boot entries found... , Check that bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini has boot entries , or use more configs for more boot entries." Whenever I use the boot entries in more configs I get the message "failed to apply 'nosigchk'!" I'm assuming this has something to do with my sigpatches but I don't have much experience with modding so I haven't been able to successfully implement it I think.
Download the patches from this thread. They are the ones I use personally and are 100% guaranteed to work.
