Hacking ROM Hack Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Cheat Database

I got a second Myradon while using a cheat with an individual value of 6V, and I don't have the official data for Myradon, so if anyone has it, I'd like you to distribute the data.

Open a Scarlet or Violet save in PKHex. Click Tools > Data > Encounter Database. In the new window that will open, select Miraidon as the species and click search. You will see two Miraidon, one being the one you get at the start of the game, the other being the spare you can capture at the end. Right click on the version you want, select "View", and PKHex will generate a new, non-cloned legal copy of the pokemon for you to put into your save.

You can do this for any pokemon; spawned in the open world, static encounters (including the starters), trade pokemon, breeded pokemon, etc (though if it's a pokemon that existed in previous versions you might want to select Scarlet or Violet in the OT Version). Using the encounter database means you start from a legal pokemon, making it much easier to keep the final result legal.

Has anyone found a workaround to get true 60fps at normal gameplay speed yet? I've been holding off playing until this is possible. The 30fps or 2x gameplay is just an awful experience.

I've searched but might not have used the right terms, sorry fi this has been answered already, but is there a way to ride morriadon in Scarlet?

I was wondering if I forced an item during encounter, and made it be "Morriadon's pokeball" if that would work, but dont want to risk corrupting my save lol

Anyone have any info?

Well...Technically no. Kinda yes?

If you have a beefy enough PC, you can run it through an emulator like Ryujinx, and use a combo of:

0.5 Speed
60fps

and then use your pc to frame limit to 60fps.

Running at dock limited 1080p I was able to get a solid 60fps 90% of the time, without the game engine running at twice the speed. Super smooth. I mean, the game was honestly looking fantastic.

Right now though, you give up special effects(like Tetralizaing, den raid light columns, move effects, etc) while they work on the compatibility. Some cheats don't work, without workarounds, or potential issues.

But, again, it is doable. I switched back to my physical switch and just overclocked it after a few hours on emulator as I think the effects are better than the smoothness of the game.

For comparison, my PC:

Ryzen 7 5800x at 4.7ghz all core
MSI 3080ti
64gb ram at 3600mhz

Even with this there was still some stuttering, and slow down to the 50fps range(Which would be a 25fps in the base game, still playable but noticeable) in the larger cities, or with lots of Pokemon on screen.

If anyone makes a 1/3rd speed code I could try running it at 90fps and let you all know how it works. a 10fps drop at that speed would be like running it at 27.5fps normally and that's barely a drop at all.

has anyone tried the full pokedex with pkhex? When i use it i only get 397 seen and catched

just tested it, check all or choose complete pokedex only says 397
need to wait for the next update for the fix

thanks for showing me this, Not sure if PK9 is the current format for PKHex files for SV as those files were created 6-8 days ago from RoC. To be safe I will do them all again myself haha. But go ahead anyone that want's to use that link and then edit the files.

Yes pk9 is the current format. ScVI is 9th gen. I know they are over a week old my guess is the devs of PKHex had a mostly working version for a bit. They probably just needed to make sure everything was working right before releasing it. RoC (ReignOfComputer) is a mod at projectpokemon. There is nothing wrong with making one for your self part of the fun.

So I added all pokemon to my boxed using pkhex so my pokedex. Is complete but it shows I've only. Caught 5 pokemon so that might be an issue
