Not Sure What to Do About My Driver's License

My NSW P2 driver's license is going to expire in June, but I'm unsure as to whether I should renew my P2 license (cheaper, and I don't drive much at all so I'd feel more comfortable with the plates) or upgrade to a full unrestricted license (more expensive, but would allow me to have a bit of alcohol instead of none, I can drive any car instead of just those on the Prohibited Vehicles list, and it's what my Dad would prefer).

So, yeah, unsure. What do you guys think?

I think drinking any amount of alcohol and driving is a foolish thing to do, what an odd system though, you're only allowed to drive a select amount of cars instead of any car depending on your license?
As in, for example you're allowed to drive in a ford but you're not allowed to drive a lambo? extreme example but is that how that works? cause that just sounds dumb

Of course, get your full license. You will probably get it eventually, so why pay $new_P2_now + $full_license_in_future, instead of $full_license_now?

But we don't really know your financial situation, if you are truly struggling with money and cannot afford the full license at all at the moment, but you need to drive, then I guess your only option is to keep on your P2. But if that was the case, I think you wouldn't even be asking here :)
