I think its okay to have some "child" games for your kids or visits.
Some years ago we had a family with two children (6y/8y) to visit
and they started with Spyro and a little bit later you could hear
the intro from Silent Hill...

Ah, some of the games don´t need to be bad.

Kids....
I do not want to play with them........even when their Parents are also there.....
You have to let them Win...Yes,sure..... of course like in real Life.....

That was very interesting and a "new" Experience to look into those Games.

Some were really hard to get them "work" (my Test Wii must felt like an Crash Test Dummie last Night....)
Some gives very new und unfamiliar Error Messages/Screens...

But today in the early Morning I was finished to managed to get them all to work.

Now I have a Bunch of Horses and.....well...to care of.

Like little Walterchen...

Arrived today. Waaaaaaaaaa! Noooo! Please not! No more horses!

Why horses? Why Barbie? Why me?
Barbie Horse Adventures – Riding Camp. The Wii version of this &§%!" game is really expensive – in Europe at least. The version with German packaging is not even available at the moment. I guess the one from the UK Amazon sometimes(!) has contains all European Languages on the disc. Not gonna risk that though. Sitting for two hours in front of the TV translating this horrible game from English into German was enough (when trying out the game; yes it was not legal, but I don't buy before I know she actually likes it). Where the f… should I know words like "stablehand" from?? Never learned this at school. Never needed the word for GBAtemp.
Getting the PS2 version was sooo much cheaper. One PS2 less in my drawer. Better than spending almost 30 euros for the Wii DVD.


This is utter garbage! Can't the nice little girl just play anything… good? I have some hundred games. platformers, RPGs, adventures, racing, fighting and more. The classic Nintendo titles. Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid. Many entries from the Castlevania Series. Megaman. Parodius for SNES – it's colorful and funny. No! It's gotta be horses.

I just can't get this one guy standing near the stables out of my mind: Every time the player gets remotely near him, he waves his hand and shouts: "Hi, Barbie!" I love voice acting in games, but seriously, "Hi, Barbie!" each time?! You can ride around him in an elliptical "orbit" he will say it every few seconds. Have some mercy! Can't this NPC shut up at some point?

What was going on with the developers when they came up with this? Did they even have testers?

Wide range? What are you talking about? This is shovelware! The game libraries of PS1/2, the DS and – of course – the Wii are full of nonsense. Just have a look on the Redump and No-intro file lists. They are far too long. There can't be >6000 DS games that are actually good.
