buy Minecraft . . . ?

i've really been wondering whether or not i should buy Minecraft now .
i've seen many vids of it , commentators posting up gameplay of it . they make it look really fun , but i am just afraid that i might get bored easily and don't want to have wasted $20 (15 euros) . there seems to be more and more mods that get released , and there are a few interesting ones that i thought were really cool . The Mo' Creatures mod for one and a Labyrinth one where you complete a series of puzzles .

so now i am asking those who have actually gotten the game ,
are you guys still playing it ?

and also , do you think the beta will be done by June ?
i hope not , since that's when my birthday is , and if i don't plan on getting it now , i hope it's still the same price by June xD

I do the same thing you do, but 'account sharing' means you can't play online with the other person using the same account, because of the same name.

After the first few weeks it got boring, it was only alpha then, but after i discovered the many mods and maps for download, i went crazy :P
you should definitely get it, right now im hooked on the Broville map, and since i added the TooManyItems mod to my inventory ive been going wild with Creative (survival gets a bit tedious, unless of course you have the nightmare mod)

i'd assume so, iirc it's the same thing but it checks the tempcraft auth server rather than the official one

daamn , i knew it was cheaper before !
at that time , i never saw many mods / dungeons that you could play .
i can only expect the price to rise once again if i wait too long .
must get money asap .

Schlupi , i actually saw that before ! i thought it was pretty cool , but i am not much of a "pixel" artist xD

it was actually a lot of fun !

made a snowhouse , and mined a bit xD

Also note with Tempcraft you can't play Single Player, only multiplayer.
