The newest Zelda title just got announced, The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes is a 3 player co-op adventure exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS

like we'd really need another 'link, for whatever reason you need to collect these three arbitrary artifacts to unlock a sword. now find 5-7 other artifacts so you can fight ganon' type of zeldas.

honestly hope they take this chance to make four swords available on the eshop again...

Ah, neat. I'm fine with it being a purely multiplayer game, as long as it's cheap enough. I doubt I'd pay $40 for something like that.

It has single player mode. From what I gather, single player in this game works similar to how it does in Four Swords Adventures.

That was more of a self-multiplayer mode. Not what you'd really get the game for anyway.

I hope it will still play well in single player since I effin hate co-op games like these. Getting together with a friend to play some old beat-em-ups or something while drinking is fun, but not this in my opinion.

I actually like this, even though I saw a lot of hate for it. I never got to play Four Swords, so a multiplayer Zelda like this would be a completely new experience for me.

I think it was delayed, I think it will be held back until Christmas 2016; probably will be Wii U's swansong.

I'd imagine the singleplayer mode would be similar to Four Swords, where you can control all the Links together, switch between them, and pick up and throw other Links. Not really designed as a singleplayer experience, more of just a way to beat the multiplayer game by yourself. It was definitely one of those games where you'd miss out on a lot if you played by yourself.

It looks fun, i wasn't expecting this at all!
If it had internet multiplayer it would be superb.

It does have online and local multiplayer. Finally a four swords for introverts like myself
