Hmm, let's see what their webpage says...Void is not a fork of Arch, they have a few similarities, but that's as far as it goes.
"Not a fork!"
I stand corrected.

Yeah, that's what I actually like about it tbh, everything there is brand new and lacks weird design decisions due to historical reasons. And it's one of the few distros that have an alternative libc as its main option, it's pretty interesting.Hmm, let's see what their webpage says...

Had a number of issues with Budgie on Ubuntu. Eventually went back to MATE. MATE is nice.Ubuntu, or Arch, but ONLY with the Budgie desktop. You cannot beat Budgie.
what kind of issues?Had a number of issues with Budgie on Ubuntu. Eventually went back to MATE. MATE is nice.
To be completely honest, I forgot already.what kind of issues?
Not having that issue on Solus so it's probably a Ubuntu-specific problem. :/To be completely honest, I forgot already.
I just remember they gave me quite a headache.
EDIT: Found it, "hmm, I like Budgie, but there's this weird white line in the right. It's only there when I click on another window."

I had that issue before with an early build of Budgie and the Solus team fixed it before I could report it. I haven't had that issue for several months now.To be completely honest, I forgot already.

But then I seem to have fixed that but left Budgie anyway, so that might not be it? hmmm
I could confirm that. MATE (and the fork Ubuntu MATE) is the best distro for every user. Bring back GNOME 2!Had a number of issues with Budgie on Ubuntu. Eventually went back to MATE. MATE is nice.
That is exactly what I am using.I could confirm that. MATE (and the fork Ubuntu MATE) is the best distro for every user. Bring back GNOME 2!
I'd love it. MATE is simply to use because Gnome 2 was designed as a GUI similar to Windows, so an easy way to invite Microsoft users to switch to Linux. That is exactly what I am using.
Arch says right on the wiki page for init that it only officially supports systemd.arch, gentoo, slackware, deuvuan. pretty much anything that doesn't use systemd. fuck poettering
I should give it a shot someday. Arch I mean. Antergos just broke itself, for some reason. To be honest, Arch (or Antergos, if you're in a hurry) will be good for any competent user.
