Well you can't do much without unpacking the .bdi files, same goes for Twin Brave
I said that... haha.
Hello.I come from China, and living in Japan.
(i haven't spoken english for a long time...sorry)
Now I want to extract the file ‘namco.bdi’ and get all of the music.(Tales of the Heroes:Twin Brave translation and Tales of The World: Radiant Mythology 3)
But that's too difficult for me.
Could you make a tool which can extract namco.bdi for me?I just want to get the music.
Thank U!（P.S. can you speak Japanese？）
He can't, that's just basic Hex editing here... nothing serious.
Okay? Nobody else has stepped forward to help.
At least there is a patch.
as I said in the pm pokefloote, I did looked, no real clue (I've also looked in the RM2/3) and since I've a lot of work to do on other project, I'll wait a bit till debugging the whole archive filesystem...
Oh I wasn't meaning to say that you didn't offer to help, I just mean that nobody else has attempted yet. ^^;
It's fine, I'm eagerly awaiting the Digimon stuff as well. (:
Looking forward to completion. ^^
Ugh, can anybody give me some input on what I'm doing wrong here?
Following the instructions, I finish part 1 no problem. I can put the iso into CFW and run the game with no issues.
When I do step 2, I can no longer run the game and instead get the following message
"The game could not be started (80020148)".
Anyone know how to fix this? Games a blast, but I'd really like to be able to read stuff.
Which firmware are you running? GEN?
Uh, 6.20 PRO-B10 is what it says in system software. Been awhile since I soft modded this psp. The system itself is a old 1000.
Hmm, it should work for you then. I had no problems running it on 6.20 Pro-C and 6.60 Pro-C. Googling for that error just leads to a bunch of people having problems running isos, but once they updated from GEN firmware it started to work. I think it should be fine on B-10.
So it just won't load after patching with the .ppf files? You're sure you're patching the iso after it has been decrypted?
I don't know what else to try, to be honest...
Yeah, I get the iso to the point where it runs on my cfw. Runs fine on that. As soon as I try and patch it, it stops. I even tried doing one patch or the other, both of them end up giving me the same error.
Oh, I forgot to mention it earlier, but great job on the translation stuff. Just because I'm having some issues doesn't stop what you're doing from being great.
EDIT: Think I'm going try a different iso, but I'm having problems finding another (supposedly) clean one. Would your patch work on ones that have already been fixed to play on CFW?
I can't be sure, but with Pro C you don't even need to patch isos, you can just play them clean. CFW Patched ISOs tend to be messy and confusing.
I think it's best to find a clean one. The decryption step isn't so it can be played on CFW, it's just so the eboot is readable to the translation patch.
Got a different iso and got it working, must have been an issue with that. Thanks for the help.
many iso's are Prepatched with Prometheus Patch, that was probably the problem.
Updated TotT and Chester's hi ougi.
Farah's Sazanka is updated as Cerberus Strike instead of Triple Kick.
ToR artes have been updated! Every names have been finished.
I'm not quite sure what are you talking about.
If it's not about twin brave why are you saying it here?
If it's another game of the series can you post a link to your thread?
You can see Rebirth subforum from http://a0t.co/forum
I'll should stop bumping topic for irrelevant purpose.
