I can't wait for this release either.

May I make a suggestion? When you're finished with this hack, make a harder version of this. That way people can play both the original on new game mechanics, and the harder one for pros and veterans.

Like using the old levels again but with more or new enemies(like paragoomba), short time, etc?

Well the only other suggestion I could think of is actually placing those golden coins (the 3 giant coins in each level) somewhere in each level, only much harder to get. You know so we can still spend them xD

Wow thats a really impressive hack! There's some great Mario hacks out there over time, some that were ridiculously tough completely designed to screw you up, LOL. I forgot what they were called.

I would rename it to "New Super Classic Mario Bros. / New NES Super Mario Bros." or leave the name alone that you gave it. But here's acouple titles to mess around with

Mmm, I dont know. The only retro music is the smb 1(LL) overworld (i think) one from the toad houses. But I think it will be nsmb music.

I didn't like the trees you added because they were too dark, but now that you fixed them they look awesome!

Is there any way to fix the flags?
I'm guessing that it's because you have the pole on a block and not the normal stand, but the gap between flag and pole looks rather odd
