Sweet. This is excellent news.
Also Give how much of the game is already translated via Wiki's and others I think we'll have no issue fully translating it.

At the moment I don't believe so. However I think once Sky finishes his tools we can make an actual thread for translation and we'll keep an updated list there.

Guys one question... How does one swaps discs once finished the 1º UMD? Is it like with FF7? You get a disc swapping screen and change without exiting the game? Or do you have to exit the game, change the UMD and then load the save data?

You see, merging both UMD's would be great for a translation project, it's not alway possible though...

Alright, thanks, I'll give it a shot, but I'm guessing you must get some kind of message or image telling you to change disc, right?

Yes after you save it gives you a message to switch to the other Disc by exiting.

Edit: Added some stuff to that thing. It isn't much. My old leader may have more but I need to hear from him first.

Just translation stuff done by hand by a few people in the old group I was involved with.

A majority of it was retained by my old leader in this group so we'll see if he is able to send it to me within a week or so.

I went to add a preliminary tracking spreadsheet to Artistan's filesharing site, but it looks like the login/password have been changed.

Any way I can get a login/pass so I can upload it?

Username and Password is the same. Just click on Default files. You can access this in the top left via a drop-down bar and select default files to get to the root menu.

Well I can, and Artistan can. So I have no idea. I've never used this thing before.

As for Artistan. For The "Queen Alto Crystarium" edit, it should simply be "Alto Crystarium". Everything else looks good.

Edit: I think the problem is simply only one person can log in and have control at any given time.

Great, this is moving forward. BTW, does anyone have a save file in UMD2? I've just merged both discs and I can start a new game and load data, but I haven't found any save data in disc 2 to test using the same ISO (well, don't get your hopes up, it could simple fail after all xD).

Okay changed it so anyone can view files as guest. If you are going to be working on the project PM for a username and password.

@NSRM & @Sky - I sent you a PM with username and password.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
