No he didn't say anything about usb at all
Ok, my mistake.
Now I'm curious... Why put games on folders? How that would help in memory usage?

I am looking for the same thing!Hi guys ! Have you got a version of Startropics 1 whose music don't sizzle and where we can create a name file (except included game in Mini Nes :-)) ? Thanks.

Actually you can run any executable via this NES Mini's graphic shell. So it could run script to remount/copy games directory.
Exactly. So the problem with the RAM can be solved with folders, so we put games like A(folder) with 70 games and maybe B(folder) with 80 games, and C(folder) with another 70 games...
It's possible. Can someone port other emulator to NES Mini?So in theory it would be possible to run any OTHER emulator executable ?
Oh well. It was worth a try. Please post if you find a solution. This seems not to help the issue of being able to get passed the create a name file and start the game. It's the same issue we were having with startropics 2, but there doesnt seem to be a proper patch for part 1. This patch also just makes the game go silent on nes classic.
"Some emulators, notably Nestopia, do not support modifications to the StarTropics ROM due to a conflation of the MMC3 and MMC6 mappers as iNES mapper 4. If the emulator has to use a CRC check to select MMC6, it may have problems running the patched ROM (e.g. audio will be silent, and name registration will fail)." from the site romhacking.com

I have started and played the game perfectly fine.
Tried several different roms for startropics 1 and no luck. Can't move past creating a new game save. Currently using the original 30 version which works fine, but maybe someone here can lead me in the right direction to finding that working rom
