if that meets the guides requirements then yes

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Okay now on Step 21. Reinstall menuhax on SysNAND as the format will have removed it.

I don't remember how I did this before so this step isn't very clear to me.
use homebrew launcher to install it, gain acess via browser hax ninjhax oot3dhax, whatever u used before to access homebrew w/o menuhax

You just have to access homebrew somehow
First, Clear your 3DS Browser history/cookies (from it's settings)
Then, Press L+R on the home menu and scan this
3dsbrowserhax_auto_qrcode.png

you should end up with a slider. Tap either the far left or far right of it

If this gives you trouble then PM me for a (slightly extensive) Alternate method
Regardless, your goal is just to access Homebrew and install Menuhax via menuhax manager

EDIT; OH, access the theme menu before trying this as it generates files that menuhax needs

I think i covered it above
Its called Ninja-ing :P

Okay, I've succesfully re-installed homebrew launcher and system updated my RedNAND.

I can proceed to Part 4 - Downgrade through 5 - arm9loaderhax of the guide now?
