Awesome, thank you!If it's an (E) then it's an (E) what you are looking for. As you can see here, Australia works as a European country in this case.
There's always a risk, but apparently if your 3ds were to brick, it could be fixed (Use this release for that : https://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-guide-to-downgrading-your-3ds.407888/page-95#post-5923820)
I downgraded a 3DS a few hours ago without issues, just be sure to doublecheck that you have the correct files.
If you downgrade, you can update your emunand to the latest version and play online without problems.
I assume if online play works with updated emunand then local play would as well?
I read somewhere that separating emunand and sysnand requires a format and I figured I will lose all my currently installed games, software and saves. Is that true? Will the system still recognise the games installed on my SD after a format (obviously formatted with the SD not plugged in)?
Okay thank you.for rxtools it certainly is. i went ahead and took the risk without a hardmod anyway. if you're thinking of doing it and have eshop content you should back it up on a pc, i did a clean install, backed up my sd and formatted, got the starter kit from smeas page, placed sysupdater in 3ds folder and extracted the ttp file from a link in justpingo's twitter account post, which i then placed in the update folder on the root of the sd. i installed menuhax and then everytime before i ran sysupater i would run ftbrony and exit. it doesnt matter where you get the downgrade files as long as they are the correct ones for your region and as long as they are not corrupted in any way. i took another risk and used 7zip to extract the TTP file with 7zip despite justpingo saying it wouldnt work, and when i downgraded with those cia files i got no soft-bricks and ended up with 9.2 firm
If emunand were to be at 10.3, would booting RxTools into that not work?
I apologise if my questions sound silly.
