2Pac Eminem and 50cent for a street fighter movie theme song front page news
I just observed some sketchy marketing practices from Nintendo.

Here's a few items I viewed a few weeks ago, as displayed on Nintendo Store (US):

...except I logged out and cleared cookies many times in the meantime:

I ruled out fingerprinting as I remembered that I logged in to My Nintendo earlier today for free Platinum Coins, but the problem is that I logged out and haven't viewed those items today. (I re-tested and these items don't appear in a fresh private session.)

Like, seriously? They're incorporating marketing tactics used by broke and desperate companies. Is it really so important to try and squeeze every last cent that you have to track users even after logging out? :glare:
I'm sorry you had to go through that. Looking forward for what else you talk about on this forum! :D

The mods have thankfully dealt with it (though I don't remember this joe88 person like the other admins like vins, the cool number guy, and dhs)
I saw someone selling a DS dev cartridge on eBay today, it seems to be PokePark Fishing Rally DS(2005).:O

(But isn't this DS flashcard from a later version? I think this ROM was written afterward.)
EDIT: The note for DS dev cart SP512M says: IS-NITRO-WRITER must be v1.12 or above, and IS-NITRO-DEBUGGER must be v1.59 or above. The firmware for these two versions were released around mid-2005. Matches the release time of PokePark Fishing Rally DS.
man is it just me or do i just like wake up with nerfs or buffs ever so often? like one day i woke up and said "hmm, i feel like drawing today, i know im never good at it, but i feel like it today" and then i turned out to be an absolutely amazing artist after years of not doing it. Then one day i opened mspaint and thought "hmm, i see all of those people painting really realistic paintings in mspaint, i wonder what its limits are" and then thats how i learned i was a painter. Then one day i woke up with severe ocd...so...uh, well
i had never played salmon run and frankly thought it looked unfun, but splatoon raiders is phenomenal, i was one of the ones who was hoping for a singleplayer splatoon game ever since 1 and they delivered far better than i couldve ever hoped for

i had such mixed expectations because of the $50 pricing so that also lent to it becoming such a fun surprise

i will say though, this is the first game on switch 2 where ive actually been disappointed in no 120fps option, the limitations of 60fps become much more apparently with this motion control style and ive gotten much more motion sickness prone over the years so 120fps would really help out with that, especially with there constantly being hundreds of moving things on screen at once at some points

Thanks, I'm not even American but I came across them on youtube one day and they are just hilarious. That extra footage is so good, looks like the actor had a bit of fun with it.

Gordon Freeman in the flesh. Or rather, in the PS3 port. I took the liberty of relieving you of your PS3 store; most of them were Sony's property. As for the port, I think you’ve earned it.
Taking everything online literally to where you let personal feelings get involved is one of the worst things you can do with a website.
You mentioned in a thread that you will use a Steam Machine to play Wii U games, which sounds fun!

I was curious, how are you going to address the second screen? Will you keep it to a hotkey to swap between them, or are you going to use Chocolate (original GamePad w/ Chocolate), Steam Deck/Switch/other handheld (Vanilla)?

Edit: I realise it's been a while since you posted that, the Machine pricing got announced long after the fact... If you don't have one, oops, sorry

Steam Deck LCD? If so, yeah, I heard the touchscreen isn't so great. Otherwise, this type of stylus is pretty okay for capacitive touchscreens:

I do agree that the resistive touchscreen with a purely plastic stylus feels better to use for the kind of games that use touchscreen, though.

Yes, LCD. So the OLED Steam Deck has a better touchscreen?

Apparently so, I heard that OLED models are more sensitive
