Yeah, currently I'm passing on the Steam Machine since the price is a joke.
However whenever I'll be getting (or building) one, I will indeed use either Chocolate or one of the software solutions to use my Steam Deck for that. However the original Wii U GamePad (aka Chocolate) is to be preferred due to the stylus and better touchscreen overall.
