  • I just observed some sketchy marketing practices from Nintendo.

Here's a few items I viewed a few weeks ago, as displayed on Nintendo Store (US):

...except I logged out and cleared cookies many times in the meantime:

I ruled out fingerprinting as I remembered that I logged in to My Nintendo earlier today for free Platinum Coins, but the problem is that I logged out and haven't viewed those items today. (I re-tested and these items don't appear in a fresh private session.)

Like, seriously? They're incorporating marketing tactics used by broke and desperate companies. Is it really so important to try and squeeze every last cent that you have to track users even after logging out? :glare:
    Sergals or Protogens?
    Same cheese head. lol

Gee thanks Nintendo, you really had to put a Zelda-type endurance dungeon at the end of a wholesome puzzle game?? :nayps3:

Fumbled in my first attempt, considering giving up because I feel like this will take me months to complete. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I wish this had a happy or neutral ending that nothing happened in the end, but whilst playing, I noticed that from a distance of 1m, I was having intermittent signal issues. I'd be very disappointed if I had to replace the GamePad WiFi board on either the main unit or GamePad, and have to figure out which one of them is causing problems...
I added some of the BUTTONS I had on my home page to my signature, enjoy some visual cacophony ^_^
    PS Vita

    - NFS: Most Wanted (2012) port has ultra low quality music (even audible through its stock speakers)
    - PS Vita has music player
    - NFSMW'12 has music player support

 Gee, I wonder what I could do with that!

Music Player support as in it gives you access to ux0:/music in-game? If not, there's alwaysElevenMPV and MusicPremium

I just had to research what open-ended headphones were. No amount of research concluded that these T60s would work with Vita, but I took the risk and I'm happy. There's a plugin that profiles your system and BT volume levels too. Disconnect buds: back to mute.

Is StorageMgr more stable in that regard? I was meaning to switch, but given the horror stories of Vita storage problems, I'm not particularly tempted to experiment with that

I use YAMT on my PSTV. No issues there. But on my Vita, I'm greeted with an invitation to format my memory card on 33% of boots. It may be overwhelmed by 2 TB, or doesn't like Sandisk. StorageMgr's config is a simple txt file, easy to edit & backup. YAMT's simple Settings integration is nice, but doesn't appear when called indirectly (such as through URI settings_dlg:).
