Where do you prefer playing Switch 1 games?

If I didn't like the resolution and frame rate on the Switch, I'd just play the PC version or use an emulator, of course! $500+ less to spend, mods, cheats, all that goodness. There are very few actual exclusives and none justifying the purchase by themselves IMO, don't see a reason to get a...

    GBAtemp Recommends: Animal Crossing Deluxe

Just to save you from having to dig for the URL, as of about a month ago, there is a patch builder hosted by Cuyler on GitHub pages. Also on the page is a URL to the delta files themselves. Enjoy!

Can't get reVita's gyro remapping to work

I just ruled out other plugins being the problem. I commented out every plugin under "custom" and "game mods" except for reVita and reVitaMotion, there was no change. reVitaMotion doesn't appear to be truncated, it's the expected file size.

Can't get reVita's gyro remapping to work

I tried to replicate this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/revita-settings-help.635769/post-10201149 However, no matter what I map gyro to, nothing happens. VitaTester shows gyro fine, so it sounds like a reVita issue to me. My full config.txt: *main ur0:data/VitaDB/vdb_daemon.suprx # ITLS...

Updating the hacks on a Vita that had been unused for years without risking my PSN account.

All I know for certain is that with current Henkaku, bans pretty much never occur outside of multiplayer/trophy cheat-related bans. There was even a rumour (I couldn't confirm it) that Sony employees basically confirmed that they don't consider Vita modding a problem worth tackling any more. If...

    Left joystick in adrenaline.

I assume you meant right joystick? The only way I'm aware of are PSP per-game mods/plugins Camera Patch Lite and Remastered Controls. I'd also love to know if there's a way to use right stick in PS1 games... As a bit of a workaround, for FPS games that allow swapping walk/look and aren't...

Nintendo announces plans to discontinue Nintendo Switch line in Europe next year, outlines upcoming hardware changes for other devices

Makes sense for a last gen. There's an enormous used market and many existing Switch owners. So long, little Tegra-powered tablet.

How to downgrade SDK version of an update?

Since you're using DBI, I believe the process goes like: Export SDK from an older game/update Import SDK to this game update I recall that some versions of DBI either have import/export SDK disabled or broken, so be aware of that. For reference, here's what that process looks like if done...

Sony announces shutdown of the PlayStation Store for the PS3 and Vita

Hopefully online services aren't going down that soon, I'm not aware of any complete PSN replacements for PS3 and Vita... but credit where credit is due, that's a long life for largely abandoned hardware.

Things you recently bought or got

I think @AncientBoi would find another use in case of desperation :)

Things you recently bought or got

Fun timing! Just a few days ago I picked up a different polybag (Hot Rod Car) and considering how well it's built, as well as some of the cooler MOCs made using only pieces from the set, I'm pretty happy with it! Not a bad way to end a 15+ year break from building LEGO. And then I got another...

Sony is moving away from physical discs, will soon only release PlayStation games digitally

If they transition to only offering games digitally, fine enough. I would be getting them digitally anyway, by other means :creep: Seriously though, trusting Sony to keep your "purchases" accessible indefinitely is foolish given their track record. Also, bans on consoles are much heavier-handed...

    "Import/Export SDK" without DBI?

By poking things around, it looks like all that's required is to: Extract NSP of older game (e.g. Pokemon Legends Z/A can be used to make Tomodachi Life: LTD work on FW 19) Extract exefs/sdk and exefs/subsdk*(thanks duckbill007) The subsdk binaries may be indexed differently by different...

Homebrew app Emulator [Release] 3DS-CLI - Run a real RISC-V Linux environment on the Nintendo 3DS

Running RISC-V emulator on an ARM-based handheld as a homebrew application, that's crazy. Doesn't surprise me this was just an experiment, but that looks impressive

    Battery draining quite rapidly

The config entries effectively disable the notification service. To my understanding, the problem is a HOS 20 bug with said service that causes an infinite loop and drains the battery if Internet is enabled if a EULA (or something else) wasn't accepted.
